Mine is that I scored really cheap tickets to the Red Sox game tonight! Like $20 cheap! (That is unheard of at Fenway)

My new job! I went in for orientation yesterday and my official start day is Thursday!! I can't wait! I already bought new pants to work in! (We can wear whatever pants we want as long as we wear the inn's t-shirt)

I have a feeling I'm going to be so, so happy there. My technical title is "canine activities coordinator" (read: dog walker). But how fun is that, honestly?!  Yesterday I got to walk a miniature Eskimo dog, a Shetland sheepdog (aka "mini collie"), a dachsund, a golden retriever and a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Labrador mix! 

I got to spend time with the staff and they honestly say that this job never gets old. The girl who is training me has been a dog walker there for three years and she loves it still! 

I never thought I'd be this excited about a job!

I got an A on my English paper that I was totally confused about while writing it!!!

BF is coming to visit me in Chicago during the weekend of our two-year dating anniversary.


Edit: I also got the school job for this summer that I interviewed for last week! I get free housing this summer! YAY for employment!

I haven't seen the boyfriend in nine days and I get to see him on Thursday.. I think this is like the fourth time going for that long haha. but schools keep me busy. Also im going tanning today.. I'm obsessed so it puts me in a good mood:)

Nothing has cause be to "squee" lately, but when I am done with my thesis in the next week I will definitely squee. My draft is due Monday but my goal is to finish Thursday. 

I might squee if I have time to make dinner for FI, FBIL, and FSIL Thursday.... I love to cook but never have time.

BF and I are going to Vegas with a couple friends for their official US wedding (they were married in Kenya, apparently doesn't count). We just decided this weekend that we are staying at the Bellagio! I can't even imagine how luxurious and amazing it will be. And we are dressing to the nines and taking a limo to the ceremony and then out on the town. Still a month away, but squeeee!

Hey! That horse wasn't there the last time I was there! Of course, that was like a year ago. They also have a floral garden that's pretty neat to look at. It changes seasonally. One spring they had a butterfly theme and there were real live butterflies in this huge glass enclosure. It was so pretty!

I found out yesterday that my cousin's wife is pregnant! They're having a baby I'm really excited about that! I'm really, really close to that side of my familiy and I've known his wife since grade 9... so it's pretty cool to see how things have turned out!

Hope- I'm so jealous you're going to a ball! I want to go to ball. I'll just have to live vicariously through you... please bring back pictures of your dress!

Alumni weekend starts Friday, and I'm trying to find a dress for it, so I'll squeee when I do that!  But, two of my Friday classes are cancelled, I have one at 830 and one at noon now.  And a driving test that afternoon so I can drive next week for a field trip.  But directly after that, I'm killing my liver. YAY!

I start a new job next week as a therapist and I am very excited.  And also, BF and I are ending the long road for a short sale home purchase

<div>Ah, I feel the pain already. I hate flights and when I went to vegas it was my second time flying. We had air flyer miles so they basically just stuck us on any flight. We had three take offs just to get to vegas. I recommend meds. </div>

My district manager told me the regional VP (his boss) thinks I'm the best one in the district in my possistion. That was nice. Plus my co-worker who's been my superior for several months while slacking off and lying about me will be my underling as of sunday! (It's not revenge, it's justice...)

I have always wanted to see Bellagio's fountain. I've been twice and still haven't truely seen it in action. The first time we went was that year their power went off for some reason and it didn't come back on until we were packing for the airport. Last time, FI and I have a 6 hour layover in Vegas so we were walking the strip and I was so excited that I could see it up close. Once we in front of the hotel, I went on my phone to see what time it would be on and the last show was midnight. We were there at 12:45...SON OF A!!!

I got free tickets to Lady Gaga last night!!!  My friend (the same one who was in cahoots with FI to surprise me with the proposal with the fake BBQ) won tickets from a raffle she participated in!  She called me at 3pm to ask if I could go that night!!!  She had 4 tickets, so me, FI, her, and her BF (who is one of FI's classmates from law school, we set them up on a blind date a few months ago) had club-level seats at the Lady Gaga concert!  A huge food spread, including active stations (it was like wedding food), and free wine/beer/soda all night!  It was pretty awesome!

Gotta say, though, while Lady Gaga's performing was incredible, I could have done without all the talking she did in between - it was like a big emo group therapy session.  Once or twice is great, cool, whatever, but it seemed like everytime a song would end, she'd start talking about misfits and being bullied and how she'd persevered and how all misfits can someday win a Grammy and perform in front of millions... uh, what?  It was a bit over the top, but I guess that's her schtick.
