Not Such a Surprise...

My birthday is on Wednesday, and I accidentally found out today that BF is planning a surprise party!  I don't know any details, but I was sitting next to my colleague (and friend) at lunch, and she was looking something up on Facebook and I caught a glimpse of a message from BF that said, "Shhh! It's a surprise!" as the title before she quickly turned her phone away from me.  I pretended I hadn't seen it.

I know it's not before Tuesday night, as he's got finals until Monday so he wouldn't have time.  But now I'm nervous!  I have no idea who he invited, who will be coming, where it'll be, when it'll be.  I also have no idea what to wear since I don't know any of the above!

Haha... ya know, he was totally right to do a surprise party since I tend to like to control all aspects of a situation (goes with being someone who runs events for a living), so I'd either plan it all or stress over the details.  So hypothetically a surprise party would keep me from stressing.  But now I know!  But I don't know!  So I don't know what to do!

So I guess I just make sure I don't look like a scrub from Tuesday on, right?  Ack!

    Your BF knows you well.  Just relax, and make sure you look decent.  Any more pimping and he might know something is up.  Enjoy the suspense!  I love surprise parties.  Practice your surprise face though.  Have fun!

    Hahahha damn you "RRRRR"!  Ok ok I won't edit, that's what I get for thinking that proof read my post.  But I'm sure Cate can pull off being a master pimp.  I'm laughing so hard as I type this cause the mental image is hilarious. At least I try to spell check.

    Thanks guys!  I'm mostly excited, but I'm nervous.  I'm such a control freak, it's killing me!  I guess that's one more reason why he's good for me.  The first birthday we celebrated together, he totally took the planning right out of my hands.  When there was an issue with the waiter, he made two friends distract me so I wouldn't go talk to the manager to solve it. But at least then I knew about everything - not knowing is a strange, weird new experience!
