Insanity - Week 3, Day 1 - Fitness Test

Hi ladies, today was the Fitness test to compare to where I was two weeks ago. It's a serious workout in it's own right, though it was nice that it was only 25 minutes. Here are the stats! The ones in parentheses are my numbers from the first week...

Switch kicks - 103 (101)
Power jacks - 47 (35)
Power knees - 94 (84)
Power jumps - 35 (25)
Globe jumps - 10 (7)
Suicide jumps - 14 (11)
Push-up jacks - 23 (15)
Low plank obliques - 62 (46)

I improved in everything, so I'm a happy camper. I haven't lost any weight, but that's because my nutrition has been terrible. That will give me something to work on this week!

I imagine you are also gaining muscle...that's another reason you might not be seeing the scale move.

    Are you clothes fitting better?

I was planning on doing my fit test today too. I think I'll use your stats as motivation. It helps me to have a number to aim for. I can do a lot better if I set my hopes high. Although, I'm pretty sure 23 pushup jacks might be a bit too high for me, lol. My upper body strength is getting better, but not quite there yet. Have you ever done any pull ups?

Thanks everyone! I was a little disappointed by the switch kicks, but was happy with everything else. My clothes are fitting pretty good, and I'm not too worried about my weight. I really want to tone up and like I said, my nutrition has been crap for the past two months, so I know once I get a little better with that, I'll see even better results.

Ely - I've never done any pull-ups. Until the last few months, I doubt I'd even be able to do one! It would be interesting to see what I could do now. My arms are definitely tingling right now, which means they'll be sore by the end of the day!

ETA: I hate suicide jumps with a passion. I've always known them as 'burpees' and they totally suck!
