I'm in Save the Date hell. I can't find one that I love. I don't think they are necessary. FI and his mom think they are 100% necessary. We don't want a picture on it and we don't want it to look cheesy. FMIL wants it to match the invitations. I can't find any that match the invitation. Please help! Our colors are red and silver.

Try looking on etsy.com. They have invitations and things on there. I'm sure you could find some std's that you could have made.

They aren't required, but remember, if they get a STD, they get an invite to the wedding.

Plus, you might have better help on the Invites and Paper board.

Did you know that at least 1 in 3 people have an STD at some point in their lifetime? Hahaha.. I'm not helping with my own question.

Yeah, we didn't do STD's (lol). But I would recommend Etsy- that's where I got all my paper stuff. There's a review of the vendor in my married bio.

Etsy is great because they can usually customize things the way you want them.

Etsy, cardsandpockets, mygatsby, etc do custom printing jobs.

You could try Alchemy on Etsy - post a picture of your invitation, and ask for bids and concepts. You'll get a few ideas, and a few bids, and you can pick one that you like!

BF came up with the adorable idea of doing a flip book for a STD. I don't know if it's practical, or if we'll even do that when the time comes, but I thought it was unique and fun!

We haven't picked out invites, yet. I've been looking for something that looks traditional and classy. FI dislikes pictures, magnets, and anything "cheesy".
