I really think that picking sides and having this rift is immature. The OG didn't need to pick on "us" and we don't need to have this thread either. Things change, girls get engaged, the board moves on. We should all be able to deal with it and still have fun.

 I don't see why we can't coexist peacefully. if a bunch of women on a WEDDING message board can't do it, there isn't much hope for the rest of the world.

I agree that it's sad that not everyone can be respectful.  I do, however, think that it's a problem that the OG feels that it's acceptable to shittalk the newish regs, completely unprovoked, where we can read about it and not give a fluck.

I've been here two years, but not much of a talker. I think Paint's considered part of the old guard, and we came on here at about the same time. *shrugs* I don't really consider myself either though. I'm just a Zipi.

And yes. For what it's worth, Shoes, I do think this was a bit immature. For one the OP of that post didn't start out saying, "Let's all trash talk the semi-n00bs," it just devolved that way. For two, fighting back in such a manner accomplishes nothing except to lower you to a standard you claim to be against, not to mention potentially start a war.

Do I think such behavior is fine? No. Is it worth more than an eye-roll, if even that? Nope.
