Desert! *SQUEE*

I was looking through your good reads list and saw you read the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher as well!  How do you like them?  What's the Patricia Briggs books like?  Talk to me!  I haven't met another person that has read Dresden files, what did you think of the end of the most recent book?  I think Iove you...

Fixed!  Thanks Bren, I get so excited sometimes my fingers type faster than my own brain.  Anita Blake is a series that is written by Laurell K. Hamilton about a female detective in a super natural world.  She was a tough as nails character which I loved, but then the writing went south when the character was more involved with her intimate partners than kicking butt so I found a series somewhat like that with a male lead.  His name is Harry Dresden and he's a wizard that works as a PI.  He has a funny, goofy sense of humor.   What I like about him is that he has some powers, and a strong sense of loyalty and bravery that he'll do whatever he can no matter the danger to protect those who need it.  I"m a sucker for underdog triumph stories.  The stories aren't always everyone living a happy ending, so there's tragedy in the triumph.  If we had lived closer I would totally ship you the whole set of books for you to borrow.  This and the older Anita Blake books are the only books that I kept, everything else I donated to the library when I was forced to clean out my room in my parents place.
