I am considering a hydrangea blue and... 

What is this color called?? I'm just worried about people asking and having to say "Well, it's a plum/burgundy/dark magenta/wine/figgish color."

First thought in my head was Maroon

I was thinking Maroon right off the bat too.  But I think Wine or Burgandy would work as well.

this is very similar to my color as well and its hard to describe we were going for a wine idea when we picked this color but then all the bridesmaid dresses i found in the color wine were more of a purple-y color
