    Hunt them down with pitchforks.
I'm far away from dealing with this problem, but I expect it to be my biggest headache.

Time to send out the enforcers, *bat in hand* let's break some knee caps...

Are you having relatives and friends call the rebellious RSVP-ers?

I'm sorry. I was at around that number 2 days before our RSVP date. It was frustrating. We ended up getting 1/4 of our total RSVP's via phone/email right before or around our due date. I understand your frustration. I was so stressed by that point that I was telling people that if they didn't respond they didn't get food or a place to sit. Probably not nice, and slightly bridezilla, but SERIOUSLY people! You are adults! If you can't read and be responsible and respond I am not going to go out of my way to make sure you have food.

I actually have a sling shot. I don't want to break a nail.

A sling shot? You're being kind, I was going to suggest a BB Gun...

That's 58 annoying phone calls huh?  Are the missing RSVPs from mainly family or friends?

If wrkn has the pitchforks, can I be in charge of torches?

Between all the knotties I think we have quite a collection of weapons.  I kind of want to break out the marshmallow gun now.

I'd give 'em through the end of the week. Then send your parents out after your relatives. Recruit enforcers to help you out. :)

We're setting our RSVP date for Valentine's Day, which is about 3 weeks before the wedding (have to have our final count in 10 days before).  That gives us a little over a week to hunt down those who don't have the courtesy to RSVP.  My dad's a retired cop...he'll be in charge of hunting those people down.

It's great to know I have an angry mob ready to do the deed.

We have to have numbers in by Monday, but it makes me annoyed that I put postage on and everything. Rip the thing off and stick it in the mail. I am not asking for a kidney.

I actually don't have the pitchforks, it was just an idea.

I DO have a paintball gun, it leaves bruises on flesh and dings in storm doors.
Just avoid mailboxes, that's a felony.

Seriously, sit pretty a few days, then harass them.
But I'm an unwed knotter, so take that with a grain of salt.

There was some people (*cough* best man *cough*) that we had to harrass endlessly to RSVP. I eventually contacted his GF via FB and finally got a response. He thought since he was in the wedding he didn't have to RSVP. Yes, we know you will be there, but we don't know what you or your GF want to eat.

Good luck! Maybe your mailbox will be flooded today/tomorrow.

I have a week and still have 47 out right now. There are days we get nothing and it drives me crazy. I just wish people would respond.

Maybe they wanted to wait until today to send them? I say, wait until Friday then let the anus punching commence.

Annoying. This past weekend a couple of my cousins were like, you know I'm coming just put me down! I'm like dude I spent over $80 on postage, let alone what I spend on the response card and pre-addressed envelope or you send it back in! Just drop it in the mail asshole!

I'm waiting on 36 but my RSVP date isn't until the 1st so they have about 8 days. My mom has already said that she'd make any calls to my family that need to be made, lucky for her almost all of our family has RSVPed.

I will come armed with a 3 foot long potato gun, and shoot it at people's houses until they reply. If that doesn't work, I think you should count them as a no.

Seriously though, it's just rude of people not to reply. Especially since you included the stamps. It's not that hard to walk to your nearest post office box and pop it in, but then again, people are so incredibly lazy. I'd definitley enlist the help of parents and/or close friends to make some calls, because 50+ calls is a lot to do youself.
