My BF and I moved into our new house in May and it has been...overwhelming. Houses are pretty expensive in my area. As a first time home buyer we ended up buying something a little...hmmm, rougher. We definitely have lots of projects on the list to do.
However, BF's parents are coming from CA in 2 weeks and that has meant the mini project of preparing a spare bedroom for them. In the past week I've painted trim, painted a ceiling and one coat on the walls....hopefully will finish the last coat tonight. I've also bought curtains and a rod to go up on the weekend once the paint is nice and dry. I am so excited to get this finished...it was previously a really badly painted little girls room - pink, but you could see the green paint through all of it, awful!
Once that gets finished up, I can start to get nervous about BF's parents staying with us...eeps!
