Dh and I made a lot of progress on the nursery this weekend  - we got the walls painted and the furnitue put together. I spent most of the day organizing clothes and putting them away - I think she's got more clothes than the both of us combined already lol. We still have lots to do but I'm so happy that we got a good chunk of it done this weekend : )

Please excuse some of my clutter - I'm still figuring out where to put this stuff.

    I love the furniture! The yellow is really bright, it seems like it would help with waking up for the sleepy late night feedings and changings.

    I love the yellow! My room was bright yellow when I was growing up.

    We thought about doing a different shade of yellow but thought this one was the best for the room and I'm really happy with the way it turned out : )

    Elle - I'll let you know if i make it up that way - I've been wanting to make a trip up to Houston but I've just been so busy that I haven't been able to find the time yet

    It's so pretty.  I love the yellow, especially with the dark wood of the furniture!  Yay for babies!  (I have baby fever right now, it's driving FI nuts)

    It hasn't dipped below 20 degrees in almost a week and during the daytime we can almost get 50 here in Central NY!  And that's pretty darn good for the last week of March.  <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif" border="0" alt="Tongue out" title="Tongue out" />

    Sapphire: I love the dark wood furniture!  Did you pick yellow because it's a gender neutral color?  Or just because you liked it?

    We wanted something on the walls that would go with our bedding set so we decided for either green or yellow and this is the color we liked best : ) We didn't want the room to look overly girly so we didn't want to put much pink stuff in the room. I still want to paint a tree on the walls somewhere but I need to find a design I like first. Or a really cheap wall decal - I've seen some I like but they cost a fortune and a lot of them are one time use only.

    Sapphire - Everything looks great! Just wait until she arrives and you'll get even more clothes! A friend of mine started rotating clothes rapidly and taking pictures of each outfit just to ensure relatives that the outfit the gave was worn.
