1) I can take the July Bar!!!!!
My letter was correct, the web site was wrong, I'm overnight everything today!!! BF is getting my my money order since I am stuck at this temp job all day. I'm so super excited!!!!

2) BF and I had a small talk, as I am trying to ease him into the whole, 'i can talk about this stuff and not go BSC' thing. He does want to get marries, but we are pretty short on money at the moment. I also need to take (and pass) the bar, and find a job. For the time being, he wants to wait until we are more finically stable. In the mean time he would like it A LOT if I could just relax and, ya know let the whole thing go for awhile.
He did take the 5 love languages assessment to make me happy :) and we've been having some fun talking about that. I would have liked to have a more specific timeline type talk, but he was honest and told me that that makes him feel like I am pushing him/ forcing him into proposing RIGHT NOW. Which is why he gets mad. On the whole, I need to relax, focus on the bar and finding a job.

    Yay on both fronts. How great that you get to take the bar in July after all! I'm so excited for you. It's also wonderful that you and your guy were able to have an open conversation about marriage without either one of you feeling disappointed or pressured. You go girl!

    Sweet! It sounds like things are falling in place! I'm glad you got into the July Bar, too. Take that thing, rock it, and move on! It's gonna feel so good come August first, and sept/oct/nov/dec...especially around the holidays and new year when you DON'T have to study when all you want to do is eat pie and drink! YAY!

    Woo!  So happy for you!

    I need to have the "we can talk about getting married without me going BSC" talk as well.  I am going to wait until I am off my period, though, because I am uber emotional right now.

    My BF never brings up getting married.  He does often say things like, "When/if we have kids blah, blah, blah."  Honestly, we've had more conversations about children and how we would raise them than a wedding! 

    On a side note, does anyone else find it's so odd how many of us were BSC until we came here?  Are most girls like that?  And I wonder why. 

    Maybe we should start a thread about who was BSC and who is easy going.

    I would think that most of us were or how else would we end up on a wedding website?  Unless one was a bridesmaid first.

    I had to convince the BF that my being on TK keeps me from being BSC. Some of my IRL friends were stressing me out about the marriage/kids thing. But since Shoes the Wise has predicted a May 2012 engagement, I can rest easy.

    Thanks for setting me straight ladies. It feels good to have things falling back into place!

    Yay on both fronts, but for now it seems like studying for the bar and settling into a job will be the main focus, even though the thoughts of engagement always find there way into your head no matter how busy life gets.
