WOO!

FINALLY!

I know we discussed our weekend plans yesterday but I am so excited for this weekend so let's discuss again.

Tomorrow I am going to try my dress on! I ordered it in May and it came in on Tuesday. I can't wait to put it on again and with my shoes this time!

Sunday FI and I are going to pick up our wedding bands which ALSO came in on Tuesday. Then we're going to FMIL's for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner.

It's going to be a great weekend!!!

Re: WOO!

  • rdr- what an exciting weekend! We must get updated dress pics!

I've had a busy and exhausting week I'm so glad the weekend is here. I still don't have a working washer/dryer, they are coming back on Tuesday with a new part they ordered.
Tonight we are just staying in and relaxing, playing some video games I'm sure. Tomorrow afternoon I have to be at the theater, and then BF is doing some stuff around the house. Sunday probably some grocery shopping, hopefully a trip to Trader Joe's and some football. Nothing too exciting. It will be nice and relaxing thought and probably go by way too fast.

    Anniversary

  • I love that picture! I'm so glad it's Friday. Last night I picked up Buddy from the vet, then went out to dinner with my dad. Got him really drunk and broke the news that we are getting a dog. All he asked is "can I take it hunting?" No dad lol. This morning Buddy was in such a good mood he actually sat in my lap for a few minutes before eating his breakfast. Poor cat! I'm just glad he's better!

This weekend I'm going to fumigate the house, then clean it, laundry. While I'm fumigating I'll rake the leaves and mow the lawn (hopefully) one last time! I need to clean my gutters too, even thought I have no clue what I'm doing. Sunday we are going grocery shopping for Thanksgiving!!!!! Also tutoring and maybe relaxing, who knows.

I have a three hour training class today ughhhhhh.

    Have a good weekend everyone!

OMG I feel so bad for you with the washer and dryer!!!! What video games are you playing? My BF has me hooked on Assasin's Creed (the revolutionary war one) even though I don't know how to play that well. He said I'd like it because it takes place during the American Revolution and I love the history from that time. Sometimes I have to ask him for help lol. But it's a fun game!

  • Danser: That is SO frustrating about your washer and dryer. I can't believe it's not all fixed and ready to go yet. I feel like your old one broke so long ago! Hopefully it gets fully sorted this time around.

Allusive: I will make sure my MOH takes a lot of pictures tomorrow. You know I'm always up for being an AW :) I read all of the things you're making for Thanksgiving and I was drooling. I might show up on your doorstep next Thursday so I hope you have a seat for me!

Buddy: I'm glad your kitter is feeling better. I might have missed it if you already mentioned it, but what kind of dog are you getting?

  • YAY - FRIDAY!!!

BF and I are having a housewarming party tomorrow and I haven't done anything to prepare for it yet. I have to clean, buy food, and buy drinks (though that is BF's job). AND today he tells me his two sisters might come over after work tonight (the younger one lives about 45 min away, and the middle one is visiting her from upstate this weekend), so that means I need to get the cleaning done before 5pm today.

    ***TMI Alert***

And, to top it all off, pupdog Kaya had explosive diarrhea last night (outside, thank god). I think it was because she finished eating around 5pm, and after that we gave her too many treats, but still - her poo hasn't been great all week. I wasn't going to take her to the vet for a few weeks, because they said it made sense to wait until she needed her 2nd set of puppy shots, since she got the first set in MA, and she's been wormed already, but I'm a worried mama and unless she seems perfectly fine today, I'm going to take her in to get checked out.

Now, it will be smooth sailing by this afternoon as far as work goes - this morning I need to give some really negative feedback to one of our best employees - so I'm kinda worried about that right now.

Aww thanks rdr! We are getting a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We originally was going to get a puppy, but the breeder has a stud dog that's not working out for show purposes, he's only 11 months old and she's willing to sell him to me. He's already housebroken so that's a relief. We are going next Sunday down to New Jersey to meet him! Cannot wait! Hopefully it will work out, if not it's not the end of the world.

The assasin's creed game looks good, but I don't think it's available on xbox. We've been playing Borderlands 2 on xbox. It's fun, I'm not the best at it but BF is pretty helpful.

I'm over being angry with the whole washer/dryer nonsense it's annoying for sure but there are people far worse off than I am right now. So I am counting my blessings. Is it 4pm yet?

Awww Hummingbird I'm the same with with my fur baby!!!

Puppies going to a new home is a stressful time, probably the diarrhea is due to the stress. It's an adjustment process not only for you guys but for puppy as well. At least she did it outside!!!! Also, if you bring the pup to the vet today or this weekend, have the vet do a comprehensive exam as well while you're there just to get it out of the way and then bring her back for puppy shots in a couple of weeks.

I and probably everyone else on here would like to see more pictures of her as well!

Danser: I was really hoping you would be able to be done with this whole mess by now! :( I'm sorry!

    My weekend:
    Saturday:
Sister's last basketball game - which should be interesting since my mother will be there, and after the blow-up we had on Wednesday night - it'll be interesting to see what happens. Then I have my boss' daughter's bday party.

Sunday: Clean, football, grocery shopping, hang out with a friend of mine from Lansing

I've got emails out to two places that want to interview me in person, and I'm hoping that I can get them to interview me on Black Friday. I'll take a personal day at work, drive the one car down, interview and fly back. That would help out soooo much. So they need to answer me darnit...

Oh it's available on Xbox, because that's what we've playing it on! LOL. When you put the whole washer/dryer situation in perspective like that I guess you're right. My parent's neighbor lives on Staten Island during the week and he said his neighborhood was fine but the rest of the town is horrible. 4pm??? I get out at 4:30! Like I said yesterday I'll be drinking by 5 pm lol!

Also, I love Cavaliers too! We've always had Golden Retrievers but the first time I saw a Cavlier was on SATC and from then on I was obsessed! We were going to get a golden but our house isn't that big for a big dog like that. I can't wait to meet him! Here's some pictures of him http://meadowlandbeagles.com/c.quigley.htm

The woman breeds Beagles as well (obviously lol) I hope my bf doesn't fall in love with them because I love them too!

  • Good morning!

RDR, can't wait to see more pics! :)

Danser, as my kiddo would say, "what the woof?!" That sounds all kinds of annoying. At my work, we have a very unresponsive landlord. One office we don't use often and the back wall of my work space has been without power for almost a month now. Every time we call it is either "someone already came, it isn't fixed yet? Or, we'll send someone right away..."

Irish, good luck with getting those interviews! I'll be rooting for you over here in the mid-west!

I am excited for tonight. It is the Silent Auction to raise money for the PTO for A's school. Also, it is just a fun night out with a bottomless glass of wine. I hear it gets a little parents gone wild. It should be fun! Then tomorrow, a mutual friend of FI's and mine is having a bday party and we'll see some friends we haven't seen in a while.

    Sunday: rest.

Stillwell- Have fun at voice lessons, I miss mine so much. There just aren't enough hours in the day sometimes. What type of voice do you study? I mostly studied opera and musical theater.

Buddy- is assasins creed on xbox dual player? I won't play games by myself, Borderlands we can both play together split screen.

Irish- good luck on the job interviews. I hope things are ok with your mom. hugs

  • Peek/RDR: If the Eagles don't beat the deadskins, I might have to drive to Philly and beat the snot out of all of them, and fire Andy Reid. Siriously, can we get a petition going for a new coach??

RDR: I probably will. I'm not going to start anything, but I never know how she's going to act. The possibility of not seeing my sisters on Thanksgiving is really bothering me, but I refuse to go over there.

I am planning on cleaning out my cabinets and pantry tonight and getting rid of all the foods that have gluten in them. I'll give some to FMIL, and the "not normal" (FI's family is sooo bland when it comes to food) stuff I'll give to my sister and mom. Well, in reality, I'll give it to my sister. What her and my mom do with it at that point is not my problem. One of the things my mom threw in my face was that I don't realize how hard off my step-dad left her, and that they had to use the food bank last week. So, she may see this as a slap in the face, I don't know. Whatever.
  • If the Eagles don't win this weekend, I'm going to demand that our friend take me down to the locker room. This is getting wildly out of hand. M is speculating that we'll get the back up QB from Seattle next year, and trade our first and second round picks for it. Fantastic, because, you know, we don't need anything else.

Also, if the Eagles don't win, I'm never going to hear the end of it from M. Until I start withholding sex.

Peek - I think that Matt Flynn is getting screwed this year and deserves to play so if your team ends up getting him he might do pretty well. IDK though because he never plays really.

This weekend will be a low key one. Tonight I'm getting drinks with some friends, tomorrow is homework and I may go see a movie with BF, not really sure. On Sunday I'll probably clean and organize stuff, and of course watch football. Hoping the Steelers don't suck without Ben.

  • It makes me really happy to see you so excited about your dress, rdr. I remember how stressed and frustrated you were while you were shopping, so I love that you [finally] found something you're this excited about.

I'm working both days this weekend, but they should be pretty easy days so I think I'll just be watching Netflix in the office. I'm hoping there will be cause for celebration tonight, because I'm half-expecting to get a call about a promotion today, but we'll see. Also, tomorrow night (I think... I need to check with H) it's one of H's classmate's birthdays and she's insisting that I join in the drunken debauchery. I think my liver is still recovering from last weekend, so I'm not sure how excited I am about this.
  • RDR so exciting!!!!! Pics please!

As for today I have a pulled pork going on in the crock pot it Tiger's recipe and I'm excited. Tomorrow we're taking Maus on a hike in a snowy traill. Bought her a fleece sweater to wear to keep her warm. Then home to watch the UCLA vs. USC game GOOOOOO BRUINS! Sunday I hope to get as much of the laundry done as I can.

  • Ohmy! The puppy pictures where too cute!

All I get to do this weekend is work. I'm praying that Mrs. TwoFace isn't working because I've come very close to slapping her a few times this week already. She's usually at least tolerable, but since I won't talk to her anymore when she starts bashing other people she's been COVERING thefloor in icing before she leaves. Really she's in her 50's (or 60's) and is acting like a middleschooler. -end rant-

Of and I hopefully will have the keys to my new appartment on Monday!!
