I love the Ricola cough drops with the warming liquid on the inside. Yum!

I always gargle salt water. It's quite unpleasant, but you will feel a little better afterward.

Chloraseptic works well, too, but I try to avoid it since it's technically poison.

This sounds really bizarre, but it works: gargle with a mixture of equal parts Benadryl and Maalox.

I drink tea with lemon juice and honey in it. Drink a LOT of it. I hope your sore throat feels better.

Vitamin C tablets, hot tea and a big old tablespoon of honey! Local honey works best, but anything off your grocery store shelf should work. That triple whammy usually takes care of it. I had a sore throat today and yesterday, so I'm in the same boat.

This is why I never tell my mom when I have a sore throat! She would make me do this!

Eat a spoonful of honey to coat your throat.

Throat Coat from Traditional Medicinals is great for sore throats too!

LOVE this! Also...An old home remedy for sore throat is tea made with lemon, apple cider vinegar, cayenne, and honey. A typical recipe would be made by adding one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper, the juice of 1/4 lemon, and one teaspoon of honey to a cup of hot water and then stirring. Typically, up to four cups a day is suggested.

I gargle listerine. But non-whitening stuff. Other mouthwashes don`t seem to work as well though I find. I also take lots of vitamin C and drink lots of tea with honey. If it`s so sore I can`t eat I drink Gatorade.
