Monogrammed Aisle Runner?

I love the look of the mongrammed aisle runner, but they are so pricey! Anyone have an idea as to where to get a reasonably priced one?

Thanks!

Re: Monogrammed Aisle Runner?

  • A lot of women on the DIY board made their own.  Post your question over there if you haven't already.
  • www.customizedweddingcreations.com is currently having a sale on runners through their etsy shop.
  • I made my own.  I bought the fabric aisle runner at Joann Fabrics, also carried at Michaels, and followed these directions:

I spent about $35 on the whole thing and it took an afternoon to do.  Pics in planning and married bio.

  • I also did mine myself, its SO easy. Here is a pic of it - the supplies cost like $8 total (paint, brushes and blowup of monogram at kinkos) plus the cost of the aisle runner $20
Google for instructions, its super easy. You just create your monogram, can print it out super huge or in word and get it blown up at kinkos and then trace it under your aisle runner and paint it in!

  • Thanks! OK, maybe this is a DIY project even I can handle :)
  • Trust me it is!!! Its the only DIY project I attempted (aside from the bathroom basket which doesn't really count lol) and it was SOOO easy. I'm DIY retarded and it was a synch.

I agree... I did my own too and it was under $50.00.  If you do it your self, it will allow you to do it the way you want to.  I was so excited when I finally saw mine completed! :o) I enjoyed making it so much that if you lived in my area I would make it for you. :o)
