Fact: My FSIL booked her plane tickets for the wedding yesterday

Fact: I'm getting really tired of job hunting...I want to be a stay at home mom some day, but right now we could use the money, just want a nice little comfy receptionist job, is that too much to ask for? 

Fact: FI is moving in 2 1/2 months before the wedding, even though we do not want to live together before marriage (moving into the guest room - well, actually I'll move into the guest room for his 2 nights off he works grave - since the computer and crafts are in there and he'll be sleeping all day)...his apartment complex absolutely sucks...he asked them 2 months ago if he could extend his lease by 3 months since he was getting married (his lease is up in December - you'd think they'd be happy with someone so on the ball) - they said sure, if he pays double the rent - that would be about $1300 for a studio apartment in a bad part of town - and there is no waiting list for his unit, there are lots of empty units in his building...so, 2 1/2 months of saving money early, we'll make that work

Fact: At this moment, as I type this, I am naked. Because it's freaking hot on my usually cold cove. WTF!?

Fact: My name is really really super rare. So rare that I can't tell you even my first name because if it's typed into Google I am the first and only thing that shows up.

Fact: When making super important promises to each other that if broken signal a Really Bad Thing, we make "pomegranate promises." It's like pinky swear, but with pomegranates.

Fact: Loopy's dress is super shiny and I want to stare at it.

That's cool! I thought mine was pretty rare (or at least a rare spelling of a still not-too-common name), but if I just google my first name, even in 10 pages you won't find me. However, my full name brings up me, and only me.

O.k. here is a random fact about our relationship:

My boyfriend now got me out of an abusive relationship by being the one to tell me that the guy,who I was dating for three years, got another girl pregnant.

There is a lot more to the story, it's pretty interesting, I should write a book about it I look back and laugh now to see how stupid I was!

Fact: my fiance is half caucasian and half mexican. I actually took spanish 3 from his mother. I used to call him papa bear and then wanted to shorten it to something cuter so started calling him papita (thinking it was little papa), not realizing it actually meant potato. So now I call him potato instead because it feels like a secret joke between us.

Fact:  I am substitute teaching right now to make money while I finish my Masters and apply to jobs (BTW,not even a teacher...I'm in healthcare), and I have discovered that there is nothing that annoys me more than high school kids who think they know everything and every joke out of their mouth is funny.

my BF is half mexican, half mije (probably related to the aztecs, from southern mexico) and i have made similar mistakes..  never called him a potato, but i called him "cholo" instead of "chulo"...  cholo is like a gangster, and chulo means cute.  so now we call each other cholo and chola...

.... there isn't really a difference.  Like we call testicles "balls", they slangly call testicles "eggs".

It was hueos vs. huejos I believe. Or maybe huevas? Perhaps the slang is different depending on where someone's from? My teacher always picked up on it anyways.
