Charlie Sheen?

Ok, maybe I just live under a rock, but what the eff is going on with Charlie Sheen?  Every time I go to CNN or Perez, they're talking smack about him.  What exactly has gone on with him that is creating a media frenzy?  Did he like confess to being from Mars or something?

He put some video up on the internet that makes him look like he has some serious mental issues.

Just basically starting a "p0rn family" complete w/ two women half his age who he now calls his "goddesses", a long and well documented history of violence against women, your basic ego-mania complete with statements like, and I quote, "I'm tired of pretending I'm not special." an invincibility complex, rants against his employers, co-workers and anyone who dare suggest he get help, calling AA a cult, getting fired from his #1 rated show, suing his now former bosses for 100 million dollars, trashing hotel rooms like it's the early 90's, and speaking to any media outlet that will have him, including his own web chat show he made up, about it. 

Basically...he went insane.

And something about drinking tiger blood.  The man has clearly gone off the deep end.

He also ordered in a suitcase full of cocaine while he was on one particularly epic bender, the one when he was trying to start a "porn family" and wrote a stripper a $30k check.

My friends have an over/under pool going on whether he'll survive to January 1st, 2012.  So far, the more popular bet is that he won't survive the year.

Is it sad that I finally looked him up to figure out which actor he was?

On fb one of my friends posted "Charlie sheen did enough coke to kill two and a half men," and it finally clicked to me who he was, haha.

I've been following him on Twitter, and watched a few of his videos on youtube (check out Sheens Korner if you're curious). I think it's good entertainment.

I think he's a crazy genius. I don't even know if he's on drugs right now, I think it seems more like he's just been on drugs for so long that this is just how he thinks now.

Oh and he doesn't drink tiger blood, he has tiger blood. RUNNING THROUGH HIS VEINS! DOWN WITH THE TROLLS! DUH, WINNING!

There was some insinuation from people that he could be bi-polar, to which he replied he was "bi-winning."  Either way, everything he says is being quoted like crazy. My Facebook news feed is filled with statuses about people winning or not winning.

I think it's pretty awesome that since he publicly admitted to doing cocaine that the police in his city are now investigating him! WINNER!

I'm with you, Audgie. He doesn't even tweet himself, usually, he hired someone to do that for him. And he had a video of him on the phone with him and the guy kept telling him to come up with something crazy to say.

He's actually trying to hire social media interns.  I applied for it, for shits and giggles.  You had to describe in 75 characters or less why you should be his intern.  FI applied too.  And his reasoning was something along the lines of "If you don't hire me @God will know."

He's basically my daily dose of *facepalm*.

I totally agree with Narwhal. I think he clearly has some issues, but he's also an actor who is milking this media attention for all it is worth. He has over 2 million followers on Twitter and he joined a week ago. He has a Funny or Die video (which is actually pretty funny), lampooning all of his crazy quotes that he's said recently. I think most of it is an act - and Funny or Die released a statement that he was totally professional during their shoot.

Oh yeah, and he's looking for a social media intern for the summer - over 74,000 people applied. Yours truly being one of them. Winning!
