What to do...

DH and I recieved a Blender today from FedEX requiring adult signature. It has no name attached to it and was addressed to DH in his birth name (which no1 calls him.) This blender is about $100 when we searched online so we don't want to just give it away. We called both sets of parents and have no idea who it is from.

The kicker... We didn't register for a blender.

So what would be your next step in the investigation to say thank you to the person who sent it to us?

Call the company who sent it, they will often tell you who paid for it.  This happened to us too.

Yeah, I would call the company. There isn't a name on the packing slip? Weird.

There is nothing! Which blows our mind. I called yesterday and the place is closed. I'm going to have DH call Tuesday when he is off..

PS. KD... I'm so excited for you!

    Laughing Thanks BBB!!!

I think it's really strange that there was no name on the packing slip. I hope the company is able to give you a name!

That is very bizarre. Well good luck on finding out who it is from.

I called the company today and they kept hanging up on me...there is no packing slip all we have is the mailing label with phone numbers which aren't helpful to us at all.

Guess we will be returning this to Macy's or someplace that doesn offer them and seeing if we can get store credit or something. (I know it sounds bad... but we don't need a blender at all.)

Don't feel bad, BBB! We returned a lot of wedding gifts b/c we got so few things off our registry that we NEEDED. We had literally worn through our sheets. I really WANTED to keep the awesome oven mitts our friends got us, but it made more sense to keep using our old ones that still worked fine, and exchange the mitts for what we really needed.
