Technical question I guess - how do u keep up w/these posts?

I use Google Reader to keep up with reading NEY posts, but it will tell me the posts like....a day later. (Which is weird b/c for every other website, it is instant...Way to go, the Kn$t, for apparently not updating your news feed?).

So my question is, how do you keep up with these posts without being completely late?  Do you just refesh the page, or use some other RSS reader?

Thanks and sorry if my lack of technical knowledge made this sound dumb. Undecided

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. I just come to the community page on the knot/have a bookmark.

Oh, I use Google Reader which is an RSS reader to keep up w/news and websites that I check....here is a screenshot of it: http://www.google.com/googlereader/tour.html .

But for some reason, every other website it updates instantly, but the Knot it updates a day later.  I guess I could just keep it open in another browser window but it's annoying that that's the exception/I should just stop whining and literally just go to the website.

I was wondering if there's another RSS reader that works better, or whatever.  Hope that helps w/the explanation, ha.....

I come back and check the forum often as I like and skim through any new posts that interest me.

I agree with Lyn. However, I'm still not sure exactly what you're askng? I don't know I am a little drunk and really tired so maybe I'm not getting it. I have Google reader, already.

I don't have the site bookmarked as soon as type th- into my brower the NEY main page shows up. After that I just skim through and check on things that interest me. We don't have a "newsfeed".

I bet it is due to Knot technical stuff that your RSS feed doesn't update right away. The best way around it, as PPs have mentioned, is just to bookmark it and visit the site in another browser tab. I realize it's not convenient, but those are your options.Undecided
