The Bachelor - The Women Tell All

I've only seen the first hour so far (Hulu) so no spoilers please!

but I wanted to say that I like Ashley H and Michelle so much more right now!

I am convinced Ash is going to be the new bachelorette.

What did you guys think? How about when Michelle was so emotional? Real or fake? And hello, the nutty blond girl? I still think she's totally BSC.

I'm excited that they're doing Bachelor Pad again, too. It is trashtastic.

Given that I'm not supposed to be eating it... I am currently obsessed with Cake Boss on netflix. :) If you can convice me how the Bachelor is better mindless entertainment, I'll mix it up a bit. (wink wink nudge nudge)

Hot tubs? Booze? Girls/guys in swimsuits? Tears? Fights?

What's not to find ridiculously and mindlessly entertaining??? :)

I think Ash is gonna be the new Bachelorette, but I liked her better as a blonde ;)

I also think Ash S is adorable.

Michelle is psycho :)  But the other girls went a little overboard on her.  It was ridiculous.

But I kinda don't care who Brad picks, because I think he's going to break Emily's heart.  And that kinda sucks.

B&W, do you mean that even if he does pick Emily, it won't work out?

    Because that would be SHOCKING.

I only watched the first hour too.  I'm a granny and in bed at 9.

I still dislike Michelle, but she really had the best sound clips.  I don't know if she was just being sarcastic or not... but it was entertaining.

    I don't like Askhley as a brunette, and I don't think I'd like her as a bacheloreette...

**Coworker saw at the grocery store magazines how Emily lied about being engaged to Ricky she was only his GF.  IDK how much that matters... but it reminded me of this group.

I watched it last night and my opinion of Michelle dramatically improved.  Maybe I'm naive, but I thought she seemed very sincere.  Every woman has their own way to pursue a relationship, and while hers may have been more aggressive than the other ladies, she was still being herself.  And Brad must have liked it too, because he kept her around for a long time.

I wasn't a huge fan of Ashley H most of the season, but she seemed a little more tamed with the over-the-top enthusiasm last night.  I'm not sure if I could enjoy and entire season based around her though.  But, I'm sure I'd still watch.  I can't get enough of this show!

And Desert, I agree, Bachelor Pad was definitely my guilty pleasure trashy tv last summer!

I am watching it now, too.

I like Ashley's hair as a brunette way better!  She looks great.  i don't know if I would like her as the next bachelorette.

I hated Michelle before this, but am starting to like her a little more now.  I feel bad all these girls are being so mean to her.

Is it bad I don't usually watch the bachelorette bc a bunch of guys fighting isn't as fun as the girls?!

I agree Desert, my opinion of both Ashley H. and Michelle changed for the better after watching last night. I think they both came across much more mature than some of the other girls. I really felt for Michelle when the other girls were attacking her.

I love, love, love Ashley H's new hair color. I think she looks so happy and put together. She seemed to have really grown from the experience. If she is not the next bachelorette, I hope she finds someone wonderful.

Oh - and I'll totally be watching Bachelor Pad...I was addicted to that last summer too!

I love Ashley's new hair!! It makes her look grown up and professional.

I felt bad for Michelle. Did she put herself in that situation? Yes. Did the girls need to be soooo mean last night? No. When Chris told them to be quiet they kept going on. That was immature on their part.

I'm still Team Emily :) Although, I worry he will break her heart and pick Chantel.

EEEEK!!! One more week and we find out!

Oh, and I never watched Bachelor Pad. I'll have to add it to my short list of TV shows.

Ugh, I hate that the girls are all so catty when they get together. It's almost like since they didn't get up with the guy they have to prove themselves.

I didn't really like Michelle on the show, but I thought all the girls comments were really uncalled for.

I love Ashley as a Brunette! Even though it makes her a bit older looker, I think it's a good thing. Michelle is awesome! I have always loved her. There's always that one lady on the show to stir the drama and she fits it perfectly! I would love to see Michelle as the next Bachelorette!

Mana -- true story, the guys are not as entertaining as the girls, but I like Bachelorette b/c I like a girl getting to be in charge of the situation. It would bother me if there was just the Bachelor and no Bachelorette. Bachelorette is entertaining in its own way, IMO.

I can see why some of the girls were angry about things that Michelle said, but you know if Chris Harrison is telling them to knock it off, it really was going too far. And the way the one girl questioned her parenting skills? TOO FAR. With the explanation that she's a very sarcastic person, I can see the editors taking out the part where she giggles at the end to make it clear what she's just said is a joke. I have a bad habit of looking very serious and saying ridiculous things for the sake of a joke, so I sympathize a little with that.

I love when they show the clips of people really being themselves.

And, I'm still betting on him picking Emily, and honestly, I hope they are an exception and really make it work.

I totally agree. Emily has a child and no one ever questioned her parenting skills. I thought that was a low blow.

<div>This. As much as I thought Michelle made some poor choices, she was at least herself, so while she might not have come across as the best role model, her decision to be on the show shouldn't be put down any more than the other mothers who have been on there.</div><div>
</div><div>When the commercial for Bachelor Pad came on, at the very same time my BF said 'Ugh, who would watch that.' as I said 'Awesome, i can't wait to watch that again!'</div>
