I think it was last summer when a bunch of girls got engaged around here and there were a lot of posts that were either titled or mentioned the fact that they "couldn't post here anymore" or that they could "finally post on P&E". Engagement threads went from being full of "congrats! details?!" to flame fests pretty fast.

I've been reading it. It's interesting. I'm glad there is a new rule about posting over other comments. They make me really uncomfortable. The bump one is really bad.

It definitely surprises me how many girls are cheating or thinking about cheating. I just don't understand why you would get married. Why even stay in the relationship? I've always thought that cheaters were stupid. If you're going to cheat you aren't that into your guy/girl. Just break up and move on!

KD I agree .  The cheating ones PISS ME OFF!  If you're not happy then move on.  There is NO need to hurt your DH/FI/BF.  It's not their fault you can't keep it in your pants! *grumble grumble*

I'm confused about the one where she says she can't have children.  It is sad.  But what church is she talking about that wouldn't marry them if they found out?

Narwhal I wondered the same. What church could possibly hold it against a person that a medical condition keeps them from having a child? Very, very odd. Besides, adopt. Be foster parents. Plenty of children in the US and in other countries that need love. (I'm not downplaying the grief some women/couples feel when they learn they can't have their own babies. I'm just saying there are options.)

I know I'm jumping in kind of late on this one (my internet is hating me latly). I really glad they changed the rules because it was just getting ridiculous! But some of them are interesting. I hate the ones where they say they are cheating and she loves them both because if she loved them she wouldn't hurt them by cheating. I was cheated on once and it still hurts me even though I'm in a great relationship with a guy I know would never cheat on me.

I think that with the rules changed it will be better now though. I laugh when I see the ones about the NEY board...there are married people that post all over the boards why not here? But anyways its a good way to kill sometime.

I got accused of cheating on an ex shortly after we broke up...I didn't do it. But after being accused of it, I sort of wished I had.

Not because I didn't care about him enough to stay faithful (ok I wasn't in love with him, but that's beside the point), but I feel like you shouldn't accuse someone of something that heavy and hurtful unless you have some proof.

That being said, if you're thinking about cheating on someone you're about to marry, or have married, you seriously need to reevaluate the relationship. Married ladies can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that there's a "forsake all others" part of the vows. You're committing to each other, and only each other for life.

...Unless of course TJ Thyne comes along...then BF and I might have a problem. (JK)

Ugh. This reminds me of a site I used to shamefully frequent - RentSecrets. As in, secrets regarding the musical Rent. Basically, it ran for about 6 months before it imploded and shut down because it was just getting too catty. There were a few legit secrets on there but mostly it was just whiny.

Some of the secrets on KPS are intriguing though. But I don't understand why people get so nasty about other peoples' secrets, and WTF was up with all that b*tching about circumcision?

I'm ashamed to admit this, I'm similarly addicted to KPS... it's effing hilarious (well, obviously not the sad ones) I also have to say that after lurking on other boards, the bitchiness factor is way lower here than it is elsewhere.
