I'm curled up on the couch reading "Garden Spells." Wow- love that book. Thanks for the fabulous ladies of NEY for recommending it. I also had ice cream for breakfast- but don't tell Andrew.

He's up and I've convinced him to walk down to the store with me this morning. I think I'll make this for dinner-

And at 1 PM- I'm going to catch public transportation, to be in San Francisco by 3 PM for "afternoon tea" with the Laid Back Lively Ladies. 12 People RSVPed...and I made a reservation for 12, but I highly doubt all will show, which will be moderately embarrassing.

I'm stuck on the computer (Webinar part 2) until about 5, then I'm determined to do something fun for the rest of the day.  It is Memorial Day weekend, after all, am I'm working (for real, not from my couch) all day tomorrow.

I'm catching up on my classes. I'm taking 2 right now (while working a full time, and a part time job...I'm only mildly insane). A friend bailed on me for this afternoon, but it's probably just as well so I can get some of my reading done.

BF said he was going to take me to the melting pot tonight because we haven't gone on a date in such a long time that I can't remember. Hopefully we're not too slammed tonight so we get out of there at 10!

Elle, have a gin for me.  My grandparents just got back from their cruise, so it's back to pretending that no one in the house drinks.  Ugh.

I'm here, researching internships, writing cover letters and trying to compose the email that will tell grad school to shove it, I'm not coming in the fall because they suck.  What I want right now is a good drink.

On my way back from Richmond Thursday night.

I talked to a grad student from another lab, and she was the first to be honest with me.  Based on what she said, I don't want to be there.  So, it's off for unpaid internships!!!

I'm on NEY because BF went out for a quick 'drink' with his best friend. I'm convinced they're planning some part of the engagement, or that he isn't really meeting him. It would have been one thing if he'd said 'we're meeting for a drink' but he said they're going to meet for a drink to talk about houses, which is a conversation I think he would have included me in. Anyway, those are my conspiracy theories for the day!

Iiiiiinteresting.

I am sitting on the couch because my cystitis decided to flare up today (it feels like a UTI, so I am going to the bathroom every 5 minutes).  Awesome. 

BF decided at the last minute that he wants to undertake a garage project today.  Yippee (note sarcasm).  I was hoping for a project-free weekend and know this is going to take longer than just one day.

Also, it is supposed to rain all weekend.  Blah.
