How to Spice up the Lingerie

Hey ladies! So I'm trying to think of a way to spice up the lingerie for more sexytimes in the bedroom. I'm wondering your thoughts on garter belts? I've seen a ton of stuff via tumblr and everything and they kind of look fun. 

Do any of you own one? Better with a slip/corset or just a bra? What color stockings?

No, never considered them. That's just because I am awkward as hell in anything "sexy". xD

I've considered it before, but then I think, wow that's a lot of money for something that I feel super silly wearing and won't stay on too long.

Lol, I'm with Hulu on this one. I feel awkard in "sexy" stuff. I need to work on body image I think and even then I'd probably still be too modest, lol.

I'd say you can do whatever you feel comfortable in though. And if you want some inspiration, you can always look up the wardrobe choices for the movie, "Chicago". They have some pretty sexy stuff in their one dance number. : )

That stuff is so expensive and complicated... and I think I'd feel awkward in it too! I don't really have any special sexy time lingerie. I'm boring.

I have a garter belt and I love it. Mine is more of a 'retro' style, pink and black and  kinda cute, so I will actually wear it with stockings out and about. If BF and I are on a date, I just make sure he gets a little 'peek' before we leave or in a private moment. I feel sexy all night and BF knows there are 'fun' things to do at home

When using garter belts- I think it really depends on what you think your SO would like best. Does he like just bra and panty sets? Or does he like slips? I personally like the look of the whole ensemble, versus just the bra/panty thing...

However- I've never been much for lingerie. I just dont feel sexy in it. I should probably start looking for sexy lingerie now!

<div>I am a strong believer that everyone can find something to be sexy in. Last Valentine's Day, I went lingerie shopping with my mom for her. And although incredibly awkward, she found something that made her feel great. She's really picky so it was definitely a success. And even that was just a simple sheer nightgown type slip with a fancy bra top. </div>

Phbt, I straight-up sleep naked. I have no shame.

Tyler sees no point in lingerie because it's gonna be taken off anyway. I tend to agree. I do, however, own lingerie for wearing to Rocky Horror.

I've always thought lingerie was lame, but BF is all about it, so I've gotten a few different things for him. He thinks it's sexy to keep some stuff on, so depending on the mood, I'll do it. No garters though... they seem too complicated.

However, after his holiday party (and about 7 or 8 martinis...) I kept on my 4.5-inch stilettos... Now THAT was hot ;-)

I have a garter black and lacy from VS, I've never worn it for the BF though he isn't really into lingere.  So I don't bother.  I have a few pair of cutest underwear bra sets.  May be I should bring out the garter.

BF is all about lingerie or "outfits" as he says, whether it's just a silky nighty, corset with matching thong or just a sheer number.  I usually only bring them out or get a new one for special dates, if we have a nice date night (every few months), go out of town, get a hotel for a wedding, etc.

I am the same way!  I feel better in just panties than naked and I hate cold feet so I sleep with socks on year round, unless it's pretty warm, but not so hot that the a/c is on yet.
