It's Monday...Entertain Me?

Guys, I can't pull it together today.  I was late getting out of bed - I got up at 7:30 when I'm supposed to be out of the house by 7:15.  I have piles of paperwork sitting on my desk that need to be organized and filed, and I just can't seem to get there.

So, tell me what you're doing today and then tell me something funny.  Or give me a picture/gif.

How was your weekend Peek?

I am exhausted today, BF has a sinus infection and kept getting up.  I was sleeping rather lightly so I could hear him getting up.  I real busy today at work too.

Sorry no funny pictures or anything.  I had my first two rehearsals this weekend for the show I'm in and they were fun.  In this crowd scene/group number I have to play a hooker. Oy... this director always gives me those kind of bit part things to do. I hope that was semi funny.

I should be getting work done today, but I just can't make myself start.  I'm tired and it's cold and rainy outside.  Not a productive combination.

Danser - it was good.  We found a third for the apartment we want, so that was a huge weight lifted.  And I got to see M's parents for the first time since before Christmas and actually thank his mom in person for all of the fantastic presents she got me.

I'm with both of you.  It's dark and rainy here.  I can't even begin to start working.

It's overcast here, but at least it's not cold, not yet anyways tomorrow will be a bit colder.

Hi there. I had a rough morning as well. I think I had a touch of food poisoning or something I ate yesterday just didn't agree with me because I was sick in the bathroom for a while last night and again this morning. I forgot my gym bag in the kitchen because I was so flustered about running late for work and then had to walk to the train in the rain. 

I've been working on wedding crap all morning. Can I just tell you that I am not a fan of having to do directions for the directions insert? It is ANNOYING.

Danser - I wish.  I found a couple roommates through craigslist.  M and I won't be doing our own thing until next year.  We both agreed that as much as we want to live together, it's better for me to go from living with my parents to living with roommates rather than going straight from living with my parents to living with him.

Ugh.  I just found out that H and I will most likely NOT be moving back to Louisiana this fall as we had hoped.  The hospital where he wanted to do his rotations cancelled their opening.  This suuuuuuucks.

So now I present:  dogs in boots.

Today is just dragging....ugh.  I was asked to come in early today and when I did I was told I didn't have to since meetings got cancelled.  You could've called me this morning I could've folded laundry in that hour lol. 

Um, something funny?  Let's see, BF didn't pick up Quigley's "deposits" in the yard and guess who steps in them?  Me! 

Also, bf brought home a framed picture of him from work holding a trophy.  The trophy was an award for call center of the year or something in his office.  He didn't want to hang it up in our office, so I brought it to work.  My manager just walked in and asked what the trophy was for.  I told her it was for "boyfriend of the year, 2012".  She believed me.  I guess it's funny if you were there type of situation.

I don't want to work today, seriously.

The only other location in LA is in Lake Charles....  and you'd pretty much have to chloroform me to get me to move there.  Plus, my company has no offices there, so I'd have to quit my job.

My favorite option at this point is the MS coast, but Nick really doesn't want to move there for some reason.  Soooo we'll likely end up staying in the hellhole where we currently live.  At least we won't have to go through the moving process?

And you're right at least you won't have to move again.  I hate moving.

Peek- Sounds like a good idea to wait a bit longer to move in together.  It's a serious step, better to do it when you want to and not because it's the only option either of you might  have.

Do I make sense?  I feel like I don't but I'm almost too tired to care.

I'm not having the best Monday. My shoulders/neck hurt terribly with an awful headache and upset stomach. I'd love to go home, but I'm too busy. Really looking forward to my pajamas, couch, and The Bachelor later on.

Sweet lord, my grandmother lived in Lake Charles for almost 40 years.  I went there for her funeral and I will never go back.  Yick.

today is a weird day for me too.  I tried yoga for the first time yesterday.  my hip flexors were so sore, it kept me from sleeping.  around 3:30 AM I finally fell asleep while H rubbed my hips and back, but I was up again at 6:00 or 6:15 AM.  so I am beat.  I have quite a few things to get done tonight, but I'm still hoping that I can go to bed early.

@Elle - moving sucks... at least that's a plus!

Buddy - he HAS to start rotations in the fall, and he HAS to have his location squared away by the end of January.  So unless another Lafayette hospital opens up in the next few days, we're stuck with the options we already have.

Peek - I'm working on it.

Mel - that gif was totally worth the click.

Sak - yeah, Lake Charles is one of those places that ruins people on Louisiana altogether.  I promise, not every city in the state is like that.

If this day couldn't be more of a downer, my manager is just having an IT specialist build our work into the new system.  They have been on this project for two years and she just realized now we need a queue for our work....FML.

Also I just checked my gym schedule and there are back to back Zumba classes.  I'm kind of tempted to go through 2 hours just for stress relief.  I'm getting so annoyed with people not knowing what is going on with our new system at work.

Haha.  I wish we had the whole country open to us.  There are only a few hospitals that work with his school, so we definitely have to stay in the Gulf Coast area.  Which is fine.  I like this region.  But this f*cking city...  I can't do it anymore, especially when we were soooo close to getting out.  Eff.

Elle- I am sorry you aren't leaving  That is really frustrating!  

 

Peeks- I am glad you found all the roommates that you need.

 

I know no one is here now but my day was also crappy.  I didn't get into a class so I just joined another one.  Now I have a sh!t ton of reading to do to make up for it  I am not happy about it.  I did rock my presentation today.  The Professor sent us (it was a group presentation) a personal email thanking us and telling us how high we set the bar for everyone else.  Mission accomplished!
