Monday Workout

So I am a genius ... I did my workout and then paused my heart rate monitor and went to look at my progress. Well, I turned the thing on, but forgot to put the chest strap on ... therefore, I only timed myself and have no progress report, lol.

Either way, I just did P90x Shoulders & Arms minus the bonus round. I'm going to do the abs on my next break and then try to run a little after work.

    You are so kicking butt!  Yesterday was a rest day, but I spent the day chasing my dog and my niece around and taking them for walks.  Today is chest and back and ab ripper.  I was feeling sore Saturday in the  back of my legs and upper back but today I'm just a little tired from yesterday but got to stay on track.  Its raining today too so it makes it harder for me to resist crawling into my warm comfy bed when I get home from work.

    I did realize that I need to get a bigger range of weights. I have the kind where the ends screw off and you add weight or take it off, but that is very inconvenient in the middle of a workout. I want the kind where you set it down, click it, and it changes weight when you pick it up, but they're expensive.

    I did do my reps facing a picture on the wall. I could see my reflecting and I imagined that I was a super strong body builder woman! Even though I never want to be that, lol, but it was fun to imagine for a bit, lol.

    I definitely get the rainy, wanna stay in bed mentality. But you are strong and you're gonna get up and start on week 3 and feel better for it in the end! : )

    Ok, I've officially sat on the couch procrastinating with all of my running gear on for about 45 minutes now, lol ... I need to get up. It's so windy out that I just want to curl up and take a nap though, lol.

    Ok, I am doubly genius because I forgot my chest strap AGAIN! I still did my workout though and actually did better than last time, based solely off of how I felt during.

    I hope I'm not the only one sweating it out today ...

    I'm lucky if I get in some abs workout today.  Pretty tired and just feeling blah

    Ok I worked out. I followed this which I found on Pinterest yesterday: http://pinterest.com/pin/60376451224043203/ I got through ONE rep and nearly puked. I am so out of shape it's disgusting. It's better than nothing I suppose.

    I think it's definitely better than nothing! I am curious to see how well I'd do with this now too, lol. You may have only done one today, but maybe you'll get through 1.5 tomorrow! Taking a little at a time is good for you too! : )

    Oh yeah, I've never been a fan of wall sits. We have to do those and then one legged wall sits in P90x. I hate it! I also hate the chair pose. I usually skip that one, lol.
