  • Mmmmm... Billy Idol, and the cake topper is awesome too!  Also, cheesecake is still cake, so everyone wins!

  • I LOVE IT!  You could totally put that in the middle of your desert table.

BTW I hope you know I am legitimantly crashing your wedding.  You are too close to not come.  So make room for two ok?

Every time I eat red velvet, it's traditional for FI and I to "argue" about whether or not it's actually just chocolate cake but red.  He's convinced that somehow it tastes different (to be fair, he's convinced food tastes different if you switch forks. haha).

Someone say "Lyn" and "crash" in the same sentence?  Oh I think I can make this happen :) I'm being dead pan serious!  Hahaha.....  Meg I got your back, instead of cutting a cake at the wedding Danish Man and I are cracking the top of a creme brulee.  That's right beeches you heard me we iz CRACKING a creme brulee with a big ass spoon!

ETA: You got Billy Idol stuck in my head now.  Stick that thing on a cheesecake, pie or something hell ask her to make a stand for it.  YOU MUST HAVE IT!
  • Red velvet has buttermilk in it (that's where the original color came from - a reaction of the cocoa with the buttermilk); plus, it usually has cream cheese frosting. That's why it tastes so different to me. I've never had plain red velvet cake, so I can't compare it to chocolate cake to see if it's identical. Either way, I definitely prefer it because I don't like sweet frostings. Plus, it's red, and that wins lots of cool points with me. ;)
