Not Engaged Yet

Splurging makes me happy.

My old sunglasses broke a couple weeks ago, so, to celebrate my new job, I splurged on a new pair that's way nicer than the old ones. I've never really had nice sunglasses like this. I'm enjoying them so much that decided to AW them and invite you guys to AW a picture of your most recent splurge! So, what have you all been shopping for?

Here I am...hey, can we count this as me replying to the thread from the other day with all the pics of ourselves? Never got around to that one, but wanted to.

Those are fabulous, Marley! They look great on you too. Super cute.

I half splurged on some new sunglasses recently too- but I got them at Winners because I like to cheat that way.

Those sunglasses are awesome! I've been splurging on "work shoes." You know, comfortable, sensible black, beige and brown pumps. Blah. It's not exciting, but it is necessary.

I did have frozen yogurt with rainbow sprinkles today. Now THAT was awesome.

I just bought this cardigan yesterday. It makes me feel like I should be in Caddyshack, I love it.I also bought a new business suit yesterday, and a bunch of other every day clothes. I don't know why I always think I have money when I go shopping.

The glasses I'm wearing are also new and cost me a buttload. I bought some perscription sunglasses too, but they don't look nearly as nice as your sunglasses, marley. Mine just look like really dark eye glasses.

Maybe i'm just old but i don't get the whole oversized sunglasses look very much. They are nice - just seem way too gaudy for my taste - hence why I am unable to find any myself heh. Last "splurge" was a crochet back knit cardigan http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?GrpTyp=SIZ&ItemID=1b05e0f&submit%20search.y=0&Ntt=crochet+back+cardigan&SearchString=crochet+back+cardigan&Ne=840+4+877+878+5+961+6+29+3+598+11+15+12+506+10+23+585+596+963+579+1031+8+1022+1014+18+904+903+969+833+949&hdnOnGo=true&NOffset=0&submit%20search.x=0&Nao=0&N=4294959029&SO=0&PSO=0&CmCatId=searchresults i got for 15 bucks. lol i never was one to spend much on clothes though.

Love the sunglasses! I would like a new pair as well...but there's nothing really wrong with my old ones so it's not justifiable.

I got a new swimsuit today, but it's not online, so pics are a bit tough. My splurge before that was my new hikers:

    Ahhh, thanks, you guys!

SKP and Bren, I like MK too. I got a green trench coat by him from Filene's basement a couple years ago that I love.

Alanna, you look so cute. :)

Danie, sprinkles make me happy, too!

    Polka, I like those shoes.

MLE, darn it. I was hoping you'd splurged on that super cute Coach trench you posted awhile back. :)

I have prescription Kate Spades and I am always terrified I am going to lose them.

I just ordered THIS tonight so I can read while tanning for my summer classes. Also it is bad for my neck to tan on my stomach and turn my head to the side. It was like $50 after delivery and all that good stuff, but worth it.

Bren, I am starting to love MK more and more.  I have the cutest pair of black wedges I got on sale at Macy's a while back.  BF got me a MK watch for Christmas which I absolutely adore.  The quality of their products is awesome.

Marley - I'd love to see a pic of that green trench!  I love green.

Emily posted a Coach trench?! I love their trenches... but I'm a sucker for Burberry.

But I'm in LOVE with Taffft's cardigan. SO cute. I wish we had a JC Penney close by so I could get one!

Oh, and SKP: MK has some of the best quality clothing I've ever bought. All from Winners.

I just bought this bra. I'm used to spending around $100 each for bras, but this one was a major splurge... $215!!! It was just so comfy and hawt on, I couldn't put it back. (also, clearly this is a mannequin and not a picture of my actual chest Wink)

    Yay for splurging!

I love gaudy sunglasses.  Those are hot, Marley.

I also ordered new sunglasses, but they're prescription, so I don't have them yet.

These are actually my old ones. I love them so much that I got another identical pair, but in black as they don't make tortoiseshell anymore.

Ahhh, thank you, ladies! SKP, I will find a pic of the trench and post it.

Sop, lookit you and your saucy self! That bra is pretty awesome. Love the color.

Sea, I would love to have something like that, but a massage version. BF and I are all about giving each other back rubs and such.

Audgie, where are you and FI going on your HM? I'm sure you mentioned, but I can't pull it out of my memory.

LOVE the glasses Marley! I bought some super cute ones when I was in New Orleans buuuut they were only $5 cause I got them at the French Market!

Also, this would be my splurge...

Bialetti 14 piece cookware set! BF and I SERIOUSLY needed a new (matching) pot and pan set...and this is what I got yesterday! Costco had it on coupon for 79.99 when it's normally quite a bit more than that (even on Amazon it was like $130 or something like that). I know, I know i'm so incredibly domestic now but i'm still excited! Wink
