One more item off the check list...(WR)

So my MOH and I met up on Saturday for breakfast. She knew I was terrified of dress shopping...so she's been doing the whole "oh, I know of a dress shop right around the corner. Want to go check it out?" bit a couple times lately when we've gotten together. Well, we had breakfast, did a little shopping and then she sprung the latest boutique on me. It was a consignment shop, so I thought what's the harm, I'll never find anything there and said I'd go.
 
Well ladies, I'm here to say I found my dress! It's everything I thought I didn't want...and I'm absolutely in love! I didn't think I wanted strapless, a ball gown, or a train...but this dress has all that and i'm completely smitten! Even better, it is brand spankin' new with the tags on....and was less than 1/2 of the meager budget i'd set for myself! I had a bit of an "am I really thinking about buying a wedding dress today?" moment. I wasn't even thinking wedding...so to have actually found the dress was a big surprise.

So what do you all think? (don't know what is going on with my face in the first pic...)





For what I paid...I feel like if I end up hating it in a few months I can get another dress. I don't think 'll be changing my mind though!!! I'm thinking i'll have some of the crinoline taken out so the skirt is not quite so full...but i've got time to decide all that.

I also got my wedding planning blog started this weekend and added it to my SN...can't seem to figure out how to make it an actual link though. Help?

I love it.  I also like the idea of taking out some of the crinoline.  I said that with pretty much every dress I tried on, though. :P

I loved that dress! I think Audrawuh got it too! There are several wedding blogs with that dress featured and very different styled brides wearing it, if you are interested in that.
I love the sweetheart neckline. and the v-back (my dress does that too )

Thanks ladies! It's a David's Bridal dress. I know some gals here aren't their biggest fans...but being a budget bride this was a real steal for me! Plus, 50% off of a David's dress that looks that awesome on me...well, I can't imagine getting any luckier.
