Exciting News! :)

My BFF's sister had her baby and her other sister just found out she is pregnant again :) The new baby's name is Jaden Kevin and he is so cute! It makes me want a baby (even though I know that is far away!)

BF and I talk about baby names a lot. We have quite a few girl names we like but no boy names so to feed my BSC baby fever what names do you girls like?

All the pictures are on my friends phone so I don't have any

I told BF if we have a boy I want to name him after my dad (Glen). BF doesn't really like that name but said we could use it as a middle name.

I would've been named Ben, my younger brother is named Jack. I guess they didn't like that name anymore by the time he came around.

    Aw yay! Congrats!

FI and I haven't really thought about it too much, but a few names we've tossed around are Claire and Jacob.

BF and I talk about it when we hear a name we like.

I LOVE Delaney for a girl.  I don't really have a boys name but I like Gabriel and Jace (although Janelle from 16 and P kinda ruined that name for me)

I also know someone who named their daughter Jace and I like the spelling "Jayce"

    That is so exciting Beth!

I've always liked the name Aubrey. BF has already agreed that if we ever have a daughter, that will be her name.

    That's exciting!

I love babies, but really don't want one for quite some time... So BF and I have kind of stayed away from talking baby names a whole lot because we've got a long long time before that even becomes an issue. I did mention to him once tho that I love love love the name Teagan for a girl, and I would want her to have my middle name. It's an Irish name and I think it is beautiful... BF is like, that's silly, we're not even Irish. Hello, have you met me me? lol. He know's my last name. I had to explain to him the my father's grandfather immigrated from Ireland and I've got cousins that still live over there.... I want to go to Ireland by the way! But basically he hates the name and I need to try to get him warmed up to it, lol.

We talk about baby names on long car rides. The non family member names that we are considering at the moment (we go through phases) are: For a boy - Owen is the only one we are agreed upon right now. For girls - we are agreeing on Adelaide and Isla. However, my second cousin just named their daughter Isla last week and it is sort of ruining the name for me.

Some of the names that I really like, but FI doesn't have been demoted to our next dog. I adore the name Juniper, but FI doesn't like it.

I like some seriously old fashioned girl names, like Hazel and Laurel.  Yep, that's me.  I have a harder time with boy names, but I do like Jacob.

We haven't talked too in depth about names, but if we have a boy, we'd like to name him after FI's late father.

Andrea is our girl name... For a boy I always wanted Jack but it'd sound kinda weird with our last name.. So not a clue really.  I've also always had a thing for Dominic.

    Yeay for babies!!!

I will share my names but, NO STEALING!

Girl: Lyla Marie (one of my sisters is Lili, his sister is Lola and my other sister is Maria)
Boy: Jackson Octavio, Jax for short (his middle name and my dad's name that has been passed down for ages)

I would have been Octavio Ramon III if I had been a boy as expected. Thank goodness I was a girl! lol

I don't plan on telling this to anyone IRL just in case someone ruins it for me, but BF and I both like the name Gray. I think it would be 'Gray' for a girl or 'Grey' for a boy. It's the only name we've agreed on so far. I adore Millie (it was my grandmother's name) but BF hates it. He likes the name Ocean, which I think makes us sound like hippies.

My dad's name is also Glenn, so I'd like to use that, if possible. Also, my mom's middle name is Anne, mine is Marie, so I like Anna-marie or Anna-Maria.

We do the same thing! We picked out two ADORABLE names. We loved them- and both thought- "We totally need to remember these, because their AWESOME!"

And what did we do? Totally forget.

A little boy would have "Laidlaw" as his middle name- which is Andrew's middle name and his mother's maiden name. If we had a little girl- I would like her to have a sentimental middle name- just not sure what.

Oh- And Hazel- Juniper would be an awesome dog name. I don't know if I should laugh or frown.

ughh TK just ate my post
    here it is again
BF and I also talk about baby names often but we don't agree on a lot. The one name be both loved was Ella. Then that got super popular. Then Sophie- now that's getting more popular. The name we like right now is Delilah. I'm not telling anyone IRL though so no one steals it before me and BF have kids if we still like that name!
For boys names I love Madoc (BF HAAATES it) and Asher. For a son's middle name I want George because it is my dad's name, his dad's name and BF's grandfather's name. But BF wants the middle name Michael because it's his and his dad's middle name.

BF and I don't agree on a lot either. We both really love Chloe and we like Juliett. We don't like any boy names. I guess we just have to hope we don't have boys...

I love Chloe too!   I know, we are probably going to have a few arguments over names when we DO decide to have kids but that's a little ways off. I would hope to have at least one boy and one girl. I have always imagined having a daughter and would probably just keep on trying until I get her! lol

We've both agreed that if the other person doesn't like the name we won't argue about it, we'll just cross it off and move on.

That's a good way to avoid conflict. I really like the boys names that BF hates though and he never has ANY ideas for boys names. So if I don't fight for my boy name we may end up having a son without a name.
Oh well, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it..someday!
