Craftiness...

Alright ladies, I blame this on two people - Sapphire and Mr. M.

I'm making a quilt for Mr. M's birthday this month (please see clicky blog link in my siggy for progress daily).  And with Sapphire's new baby (and my feeling slightly empowered in my sewing...), I suddenly saw Elle's avatar and thought "OMG it would be so fun to do an HP quilt and send it to Elle!!!)  Don't freak, unless I get REALLY good and fall into a crap ton of money, you're not actually getting one.

BUT, if I could, what kind of quilt would you want me to make you?

(This might actually hit new levels of BSC...I'm going to find pictures of fish, so kind of a p and r, but I'll still be here)

If I buy you a decent sewing machine, is my quilt free?

a harry potter quilt sounds awesome.  I never really got into sewing but it sounds like fun. If I quilted i'd make my bf a rangers quilt and I'd make a ballet one for myself.

<div>$150-$200?  I'm new to this, so it would take quite a bit of research for me to find one.  Although if I'm doing that much handwork on your quilt, it might be a good trade off. :)</div>

So we both have our assignments.  You research sewing machines; I'll be making a list of quotes.  We will resume this discussion soon.

I've been taking a sewing class and I am wearing one of my fantabulous skirts today! YAY CRATINESS!!

FI has the most awesome Ninja Turtles quilt his grandma made him when he was little. Last year, she made FSIL a TMNT quilt with fuzzy blanket on the back side.

If I could make one, I would want a Hello Kitty one or bright paisley. Ive seen tons of awesome quilt prints at my new hang out (Joann Fabrics)

If you start an etsy shop I would love to purchase one for me and the BF once we buy our house. I'd even send ou the fabric myself since I want sentimental things about us in it!!! I can sew pretty well, I've made clothes and what not, but I can not quilt. **Sigh**

Sorry I haven't been around lately, you may have answered this in a different post and I didn't see it. Have you made very many quilts? Or are these your first?

I made one shortly after I graduated high school and I am in the process of making one now. They take so terribly long to make! I almost wish I had picked a much easier pattern on this one.
