Allusive: OMG I want ALL of the food on your menu and I can't wait to see your e-pics! 

I had a pretty good weekend. On Saturday, FI and I worked a little more on our registry and then we bought our wedding rings! I'm in love with mine! And now I'll be an AW: 

That night I went to dinner with my BFF/MOH. We had guac and drank a bottle of tequila. That was fun 

Yesterday, FI and I spent the day with FMIL, FBIL and some other people watching football and eating our faces off!

I have this sleeping bag: <a href="http://www.thenorthface.com/catalog/ca_ecom/en/gear/aleutian.html" rel="nofollow">click</a> I'm not sure why the link is for the Canadian North Face site...it was the first Google result.  It is rated to 20F.  So warm and toasty, but it can be a bit warm in the summer.

I also have this sleeping pad: <a href="http://www.rei.com/product/780367/exped-synmat-7-air-pad-with-pump" rel="nofollow">click</a> I have only used it in the summer, but it is insulated and should be fine for winter.  It came highly recommended from my local outdoor store.  I can not sleep on the ground AT ALL.  I usually make it a few hours before I give up and try to fit my hips and shoulders on my pillow and use a hoodie for a pillow.  This sleeping pad totally changed that.  It is amazing.

I'll look into both of those. We just got an REI down here so I'm thinking about swinging through and looking at things this weekend. He also needs a mess kit and a few other things. The one good thing is the Boy Scouts provide the tents for the boys. So, even though we have a tent, he won't have to take it. It would be kinda big for just him, anyhow. And it's a fracking biznatch to put up.
