I'm in a bad mood today. My experiments aren't working. I just went and got coffee, and some completely oblivious kid (and by kid, I mean college student) smacked right into me and spilled my piping hot coffee all over me. Jerk.

I've been so busy at work.  I've been dealing with the carpet place today, I have a nice carpet picked out and it's not too expensive.  It seems like it's not going to be installed this week though, by the time the carpet gets ordered and arrives at the installer.  Next week my co-worker is on vacation and BF is away on business so I am not sure it will even been able to be installed next week since I don't think I will be able to be home for it.  I want to choke someone, but I won't.

My home is a mess it's so dusty and dirty there are boxes everywhere I just want my home back and to have carpet.  It seems like I am asking for too much though.  It's also a certain time of the month so I'm a bit more bitchy.

Sorry moocow & yaga that your day hasn't been as great.

Did you at least get your coffee for free after that?

I'm in invitation hell.  I've done nothing but invitations since I woke up yesterday and I just want to be done.  What was I smoking when I decided to DIY?

No laminate floors, now getting carpeting done.  This whole thing has been a disaster, home depot sucks.

ETA but they are taking off like $500 from my current order so at least I'm saving some money.

They said carpet was ordered today, but won't be avail until Wednesday and won't arrive at the installer until Friday, so I highly doubt I will even have any flooring this week.  They are trying to rush things so we'll see.

Well, out of the 75-ish that I'm sending out, I have exactly 13 that are completely finished and ready to go.

That's a slightly deceptive number, though.  I'm mostly in the assembly phase, so I'm a lot closer to finished than that.  I <em>hope</em> to finish them today and mail them tomorrow.

My day is ok. Bossman threathened to not come back for the rest of the week from his condo in FL. Umm that is not going to fly, I am sick of talking to to all of his clients. One thing I learned while working in a law firm, I am a good liar. We aren't allowed to tell people he is on vacation because a crazy found his house one time when his wife was home alone. Now, I lie.

I'm watching old episodes of The Office off Netflix for background noise.  I started with the first episode, and now I'm halfway through Season 3.  I wonder if I'll get through the whole series by the time I'm ready to mail...

Shitty, shitty work day. I keep telling myself that after today, it's only seven more work days until vacation, but good lord the day has been crazy with people with attitudes talking all smack at me.

The good news is that apparently Tyler's grandmother is going to be woken up from her extended propofol sleep and taken off of the ventilator over the next two days. Her blood pressure is like... completely dependent on the use of dopamine right now though, and she still has the temporary pacemaker in. With this being her third ICU stay in the last month and a half, I don't see her recovering very well, and I know that she doesn't need to go home, but they're quietly fighting about all of that. She still doesn't have any living will nor, as I found out Saturday, a straight-up will. It will get hairy.

But ready for this to be over, please.

I'm off work today, so for that reason alone it has been a pretty good day, plus I'm still wearing my pj's! I just vacuumed the living room since the dogs destroyed all of their stuffed toys and had to empty the vacuum twice (I never realized how gross my house is). Now I'm working on cleaning the kitchen, and once that's done I'm going to try setting up my new wireless printer. 

Hopefully the week improves for everyone else!

Ahhhhhh now I'm being told by the time the carpet is all ordered and arrives to the installation company it won't be until April 23rd.

Work was awful this morning. On Mondays the only kids who come are all from the same family and I really don't like any of them. I much prefer Tuesdays when I get to play with the kids who are 3 and under. They don't frustrate me.

I'm kinda bored today. I thought about working from home, but I'm taking Friday off. I expect it to be a sort of slow week.

Also, UPS/US Customs has been holding my package for three weeks now. It's ridiculous! Apparently they can take 30 days to decide whether it will be allowed into the country or not (though it's sitting at a warehouse in Kentucky). I guess they don't realize that there were several shipments of the same items. They let half of them in, just not my half!

stillwell- Sorry to hear about Tyler's grandmother. That doesn't sound like an easy situation at all. I'll be thinking about you!

leia- That sucks. I hate mailing stuff anymore. I think about 50% of my packages have been lost in the past few months.

My monday was horrible. I lead a group on Mondays, and 2 of the clients got into a big fight- including lots of tears. Then I went to the gas station and it was really windy, and gas went all over me somehow. Then I went to try on a bridesmaid dress for a friend's wedding, and I needed to get a bigger size than I usually do because of my new grown boobies (not a big self esteem booster...). Then opened my bag of tortillas to make dinner on the wrong side and they went all over. Not my day!
