Ok - so choco tacos. I just met them for the first time recently. FI saw them on a tv commercial and HAD to have them. So, so SO good!! I better stock my freezer now for you!! And vodka, that's a given. YUM!! And finally, UFC fight - I didn't know you invited us over again this weekend? ;-) No really, we're watching the fight this Saturday too with some friends. <div>For a glorious summer in 1991, my uncle drove an ice cream truck. He'd stop by almost every day and give us whatever we wanted. I'm sure we ate up plenty of his profits. YUM!! Though I would NEVER keep them in the house, as they'd be gone in one day.</div><div>

Mockingjay. I've been struggling through Sarah Vowell's Unfamiliar Fishes for more than a month with no luck. Turns out not even snark can make the history of Hawaii interesting after a hard day's work.

Writing full-time, whatever I want, in the city I love while still being able to spend time with my husband & kids.

What are you looking forward to this summer?

Just settling back into city life & doing lots of fun stuff with SO, friends & family -- Cardinals games, outdoor theater, grilling out on my best friend's deck, taking my niece to the park, going on random nerdy adventures with SO, etc., etc.

Also, going to Chicago with SO next month for our friends' wedding.

Any big plans for Memorial Day weekend?

Five-day weekend in St. Louis! My mom is retiring tomorrow after 41 years of teaching, and we have two different celebrations planned for her (one of which is Wednesday night, hence the extended weekend). Also, my 74-year-old aunt/godmother will be in town -- first time I've seen her since my master's graduation. In other news, moving home a carload of stuff, possibly SO's uncle's birthday party, maybe a concert, hopefully a neat flea market Monday (depending on how hot it is), definitely picking up a few things for the new apartment.

I had a Healthy Choice meal, broccoli, string cheese, and Special K cracker crisps over night, and then some toast with cream cheese this morning before bed. I just ate a couple pieces of pizza that BF ordered for dinner.

Rita's water ice is what initially came to mind, but after reading Lennon's answer, I remembered how much I adore fresh tomatoes with mozzarella, basil, and balsamic. I also have an unhealthy love for hot dogs.

I like watching football on TV, but nothing beats a baseball game in person.

Vodka soda with a splash of cranberry and a lime or a vodka and sugar free redbull, since with you, Rdr, I know it would be a crazy night

BF keeps saying he wants to take me to Hawaii for our honeymoon. I wouldn't mind just parking my ass on a lounge chair at an all inclusive in the Caribbean somewhere.

I'd also love to go back to Europe. BF has never been, and it's something I really want to happen before we have kids.

I'm almost done with Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger (same author as The Time Travelers Wife, which I actually have not read).

Not having one? Um, I like my job now. I'd like to eventually work on a post-partum floor because it's low stress and you get to cuddle with babies, but I think I'd be bored doing that right now.

What are you looking forward to this summer?

We have a couple of long weekends planned. Hoping to do a trip to the beach with BF, my brother, and his GF, a weekend at the shore with my college roommates, a weekend in NYC, and a couple of days in Maine when my Dad is up there. Got to love being able to take 6-8 days off in a row without having to take any vacation

Any big plans for Memorial Day Weekend?

We're going to home to VA for my sisters dance recital. In order to reward BF's good behavior putting up with 4 hours of ballet, we do a night out with my brother and his GF. This year, a couple of my good friends from HS will be in town for the weekend, too, so hopefully we'll see them.

Got to love being able to take 6-8 days off in a row without having to take any vacation :) Any big plans for Memorial Day Weekend? We're going to home to VA for my sisters dance recital. In order to reward BF's good behavior putting up with 4 hours of ballet, we do a night out with my brother and his GF. This year, a couple of my good friends from HS will be in town for the weekend, too, so hopefully we'll see them.
