So, I've been pretty sick for about two weeks now - fever, aches, chill, sore throat, tired beyond belief. I was pretty sure after about day #3 that I had mono, and after going to the docs on Monday, he all but confirmed it (still waiting on blood test, but all my symptoms match exactly to the last two times I had it).
When I was getting checked out by the doc on Monday, he was a bit concerned with the abdominal pain I was having. It literally feels like my organs themselves hurt - very weird and creepy feeling. He ordered an abdominal ultrasound, which I'm going in for this afternoon.
I know I probably shouldn't be, but I'm kinda nervous about my appt. today. I've had more uts than I can count (thanks to the endo), so it's not that...it's just that the doc seemed so worried when I saw him on Monday. Like, beyond a normal doctorly concern. I'm hoping it's just that my spleen is swollen (happens with mono) and is pushing on other things and making them hurt, and that it's not something more serious.
Like I said, I'm sure I'm worried about nothing, but something just keeps pushing my internal "panic" button for some reason.
So, Cliff Notes - I'm being ridiculous. Feel free to tell me so and make fun of me all you want.
