So yesterday was pretty much the best day ever and today has continued with that pattern. I have to thank all of you for the TK vibes over the last few months. First of all, I am NO LONGER unemployed (barring any last minute issue *fingers crossed*. I got a call back from a company I've been dealing with for 2.5 months, interviewed Monday, got a yesterday to come back and do my drug screen and fingerprinting/background and then told me I should expect to be at orientation on the 10th!
To those of you who know the entire situation this has been the worst 5.5 months I've ever had and this just made me cry openly! I'm even in my career field (teaching) and I'll be at a Head Start pre-school. Good paycheck, great benefits and they'll work around my Grad School schedule. Since I never got a dime from unemployment I'm waiting on a backpay check from them and that will be a sweet addition to the whole thing.
And I got the final price quote from the ceremony/reception venue today. I seriously do not think I could be more excited in my life. I was scared about money and wondering how we were going to pay for everything without me working. Now that I found this place our budget seriously just dropped $8000-$9000.

I don't think I could do any better, at least I'm pretty sure, and honestly I have all you ladies to thank a million times over. You've kept me laughing and pretty positive through all this and finally it seems like we are getting a break. *sigh* I don't want to be overly excited but I'm *squeeing* on the insde.
