Dress me for e-pics?

I would have liked to have shopped for some new stuff (any excuse, right?) but now I don't have time, so I'm relying on my closet.  Here are some things I'm considering.  I need your thoughts because, ever since I discovered this board, I am incapable of making a decision on my own.

So these are my favorite items from my closet:

I have this dress from New York and Co, except mine is beige.  I usually wear it with a 3/4 length navy linen blazer.  It's really flattering:

I also have this skirt from Target:

as well as this cardigan in 5 different colors (red, teal, cornflower, white, and peach):

And I have a black belted cardigan that I love:

And I have a million different colors of tank tops.  And dark boot-cut jeans.

Is it hopeless?  Should I drag Sunbird with me to the mall tomorrow?

I really love that dress a lot!!  I think that would be really cute with the blazer, like you said.  With what shoes??

I also like the idea of dark boot-cut jeans, a tank & your black cardigan though because that is totally something I would wear.

    I'm no help :(

The shoes would probably be my champagne-colored wedges.

The only reason I'm hesitant about the dress is that my skin allergies have been bad lately and my legs look a little beat up.  Maybe it won't show in pics, though?

    Thanks rdr!!

I think that you should make sure that you feel good/comfortable in what you're wearing.  If you think you'll be worried about your legs then I'd say go with the jeans or some other kind of pants.  When I wear something that I'm uncomfortable in you can read it on my face in pictures.  Although I have no idea if other people see this, it could totally just be me!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too.

Most of the time, though, I feel prettier and am more confident in skirts or dresses.  So it's a double-edged sword.  Either way, I won't be completely confident.  Suck.

That's not a bad idea, Peek.  I mean, it is going to be in the upper 80s here tomorrow, but it would look good in the STDs.  Now I'm wondering whether I have a dress that would work with opaque tights...

I mean, even just a pair of pantyhose would work.  It'll even out your skin tone and if it's too hot for tights, you won't be able to tell you're wearing them in pictures.

Yeah, I like that idea.  I'll have to buy some hose, but it's worth it.

This is a cute idea, but with your beige dress (The look on the right, obv)

I love the dress a lot.  You should look like you though and feel comfortable.  May be something more informal like nice jeans with the nice sweater above.

That's really cute, rdr.  Do black and beige go together?

And, notice in rdr's second beige and black picture - longer black cardigan. You could wear that with it and complete the look.

I agree the second look from rdr... Also I think a nice casual look would be the jeans, with the peach cardigan and a cami. Those two looks would also compliment your wedding colors BONUS!

I'm having my epics taken in like 2 weeks, and my photographer advised me to stick to solids and avoid black and white.  Hope that helps.
