Um....engaged?

He got a Valentine's "mailbox" and put the ring in there with a note that said, "Will you marry me?"

I'm a little disappointed b/c after he told me to go open it....he fell asleep. What guy falls asleep during his proposal???

    Congrats!

    Maybe he was super tired for the anticipation? Did you have time to say yes or did he fall asleep too quickly? At least it's a story to tell the grandkids.

    I had to rush out to work b/c I was already late. I didn't officially say yes but I woke him up and told him he sucks for falling asleep. I guess it is a story for the grandkids. The more I think about it the more funny it is...but still.. I should have added a poll: Did your fiance fall asleep during the proposal? yes, no, or I'm not sure...maybe?

    lol oh well at least its unique

    After my FI asked, I turned around and yelled at him because he wasn't down on one knee. He's response? Are you serious?! At the time he was frustrated with me. Now, he loves telling people the story.

    So, just because it didn't go perfect doesn't mean the marriage will be invalid :)

    You could always say "I was thinking about last night and I just wanted to say that...zzzzzzz." but I'm mean and everyone should feel sorry for my FI.

    Oh wait - I can answer my own question after looking at OP's other posts - she's the one who got stuck with my laxative diamond joke - remember the stimulant diamond post? And she posted another one about picking a date before she was engaged because his family would need time to plan in order to afford travel. That was only two weeks or so ago, so she hasn't been around too long. (lucky dog you) :)
