I like Tuesdays even though they're long days for me, because I have two of my favourite classes today.

1. Do you like Tuesdays? I actually really like them.
I do like Tuesdays, but I didn't when I was in high school - I was in the marching band and we had a 3 hour practice every Tuesday night - I had nightmares about those practices.

Sadly, I'm looking forward to going and doing a little bit of grocery shopping later today 'cause it will give me a chance to get away from my 3 crazy and very hyper animals who really don't like that daddy changed his work schedule for 2 days.

I really want to go to Tampa, FL to see where FI grew up and meet his youngest niece and 2 nephews (who will be my niece and nephews as of Saturday - they aren't coming to the wedding with their parents)

I have so many songs stuck in my head lately, but I think since I've got 24/7 wedding brain right now, I'll pick We've only just begun by the Carpenters...it's our song and what we're using for our 1st dance.

My favorite place in the U.S. is the 1000 Islands. I spent summers there as a kid and it is heaven on earth.

4. What's one place within the US (or your home country) you'd like to travel? Well my dream was to travel and see the redwoods, and I finally go to do that, so I guess Montana, or someplace east, I haven't been east.

Ahh, don't care. Every other Tuesday is the meeting for my non-profit.  We don't meet today, so nothing is going on.

Getting off work. BF was being cuddly this morning and I want to go back to bed.

I'm going to steal my sister's dog one day.  She has a mixed bread, but she's a lot of husky and BEAUTIFUL.

BF and I thought about a road trip to Penn, NY, and NJ. (Where he was born grew up, went to school, etc.)

You can get them at any Macy's, but only because they bought out the famous old Chicago department store, Marshall Field & Co. My Chicago family used to buy a box of these for each family for Xmas every year, because you could only get them in Chicago, and they are so darned heavenly.

ETA: No, seriously. They are mint-flavored chocolates that melt in your mouth in a particularly luscious way. Also come in other flavors.

Eh, not particularly.  I like Wednesdays better.  But don't tell Tuesday I said that, wouldn't want to hurt its feelings!

Going home to BF.  He's got a super busy day, so I'm looking forward to unwinding and playing a board game or something together before cuddling.  I'm still catching up on sleep from the race, too, so going to bed early and cuddling would be nice!  Mostly I just want to cuddle.

3. What is your favorite cuddly (or not cuddly) animal?
Uh... not much of an animal fan.  I like to see pictures of them, and see them from afar, but not so much for cuddling.  Maybe a koala?  Super cute, but better not to touch it.

4. What's one place within the US (or your home country) you'd like to travel?
One place???!! What kind of cruel question is that?  Right now, DC since I miss my friends up there.  Or LA to visit another close friend.  In terms of sightseeing, probably the Grand Canyon or Colorado to go hiking with my brother.

You're totally striking out on this one... no clue!

They had DJs set up at various points along the route of my half marathon, and that seemed to be the most popular song at each one I passed.  Trust me, by the end of my race, I don't ever want to hear that song again!!!

1. Do you like Tuesdays? I actually really like them.
Tuesdays have, oddly, always been a great day for me. I've had a favorite show on Tuesday nights for about a decade (Judging Amy, Gilmore Girls, Glee--yes, I'm such a girl), and it seems like Tuesdays agree with me in general. Used to have my favorite ballet teachers on Tuesdays for awhile, too. I think tonight I might institute Champagne Tuesdays.

2. What are you most looking forward to today?
Lowdown (BF's band) is cutting a demo tonight in our basement!

3. What is your favorite cuddly (or not cuddly) animal?
My cat, Marlon. Also, I love Hippopotamuses!

4. What's one place within the US (or your home country) you'd like to travel?
So many places! I'd really like to visit friends in Nashville, TN. Never been. We could also go see BF's newly-engaged sister in Chattanooga if we did that.

Haha, I ran as fast as I could, and it kept following me!!!

I think because they hired different DJs along the race, it was hard to ensure the variety of songs.  I think they would have been better served to have speakers throughout the race and just one DJ, with MC's along the way to shout encouraging words into the microphone for the runners in just that area.

That was the only song that drove me nuts, though.  They did some really awesome remixes of Disney songs to an electronic beat - great for running and keeping up the energy and excitement!

I am torn on liking today.  I have my only hated class today that wastes 3 hour of my life every week but I also have two of my favorite classes so it's a tossup.  The only thing that really sucks is that I have 13 hours of classes today.   But over all Tuesday is fine.

Ceramics today.  It has become my calm down time.  I feel so relaxed working with clay

1. Do you like Tuesdays? Meh, they're okay. Kinda sucky becaue IH ave so many classes on tuesdays, but awesome because the bachelor is on Monday nights, which means I get to watch it online on Tuesdays.  Plus, it's my one night of the week I dont' have a thing going on and i can relax/possibly hang out with my friends. Yay.

2. What are you most looking forward to today?  Well I just took an exam, so I'm glad that's over! I was looking forward to this time when the exam is over.

Okay Marley here it is:  Anyone else they are really easy to make and are a killer desert

Frangos:

12 oz (2 cups) of chocolate chips

1/2 cup butter

1 1/8 cups powdered sugar

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

3 tsp peppermint extract

Directions:

Melt chocolate chips and butter in sauce pan. Set aside.  Mix powdered sugar and eggs together.  Add to melted chocolate and blend with an electric mixer.  Add vanilla and peppermint and blend together.  Take a 9X9 glass pan and line with foil or plastic.  Pour mixture into pan and place in fridge.  Let sit for 24 hours or until hardened.  Generally it's better the longer you let it sit.  If you take it out too early it starts to melt.  Once removed cut into little squares and place on plate for enjoyment.    It's yummy!

Wow, Raven! Thanks. I had no idea it was a recipe to make Frangos. Thought it was a recipe you could melt Frangos into and use them as an ingredient! Cool. I'll have to try this sometime.

I didn't mind the games and the competitions, the practices were just grueling (we also practiced before school every morning for an hour)...we were one of the best in town so we were always in competitions and our band director was tough - everyone thought I would try to get a band scholarship for college, but I couldn't wait to be done with it.  I do have some good memories, it was just all that practice that killed me.  I did get out of having to take PE in high school because of it, so that was a win.

Today is going quite well. Most Tuesdays aren't so interesting so its a toss up between Tuesday and Wednesday for being the 5th best day of the week.

2. What are you most looking forward to today?
Getting my e-ring back. It's had a little work done to it, so I have really only gotten to wear it for three days out of the past two weeks.

3. What is your favorite cuddly (or not cuddly) animal?
I have to say my dog is a great cuddler. When I watch a movie, I always lay on the ground and she comes up and lays right in front of me with her head on my arm. In general, I don't think I have a favorite animal.

4. What's one place within the US (or your home country) you'd like to travel?
I want to go see a ton of places. I don't think I can just narrow it down to one place. I want to go back to the east coast and spend some more time; I think Washington, Oregon and California are so pretty. I also want to go to Vegas and the Grand Canyon; I've never been.

5. Do you know what Frango Mints are?
I've never heard of them, but I think I'm going to have to hunt them down now.

Michael Franti - Say Hey (I Love You) One time while my FI and I were long distance, I was driving back and heard this song and it made me feel alot better about being in a LDR. Now it just makes me smile every time I hear it.
