**Tarra - Wedding Hair Question** PIP for others

I saw you commented on my picture on Pinterest and was wondering how long your hair was when you got married? Mine falls a little less than halfway down my shoulder blades. Do you think that would be long enough for this style?

For those of you who haven't seen the picture, this is what I'm thinking of doing for my hair.

I was thinking I would do it half up, half down with loose curls, until I saw this. It is so soft and pretty. What do you think?

[QUOTE]That's one of my favorite wedding hair inspiration pictures...I've seen it everywhere on this board and others. Lovely! But have no idea how much hair it would take to do something like that. Are extensions an option if you don't have enough hair, or even if you wanted to add volume? Clip-ins are easy on your hair and don't require the investment of the kind that are woven/glued in.

I hadn't thought about that. Would I do it myself or does it have to be done by a stylist? Have you tried it before?

[QUOTE]My hair hit just below my collarbones. I had a little whimpier bun/curl/mess in the back, but I didn't want a lot of hairspray. ETA: I also wanted a messy, shabby chic look so mine is a little undone looking.

Great. Mine is longer than collar bone length, so I think it'll look good. Also, my hair is really thick, so I'm not worried about volume.
