We are having our wedding ceremony in a church but they are very flexible with the music we chose. We are looking for something to play while guests are arriving - something non traditional but still decently conservative.  HELP!!!  I am lost - i have norah jones, come away with me and train, marry me....need 10 more atleast

  • Ben Folds "The Luckiest"
  • 10 more!? sheesh.

ask your musicians.  typically they have a fairly large repitoire of songs that they're comfortable playing.  comfort = less mistakes.

perhaps check out the pride and prejudice soundtrack -- those are pretty pieces.  I used "dawn" for the seating of the mothers =)
  • We're playing 'Say Yes' by Snow Patrol (I'm actually walking down the aisle to that one).  There's also Lucky by Colby Caillat and Jason Mraz...it talks about being in love with your best friend, so it's especially nice for weddings :-)
