Not Engaged Yet

To Ticker...Or Not to Ticker

After seeing NurseyK's ticker again this morning, I thought- "Oh! I have something to count down to!"

But when I got my ticker up and looked at it- I realized it made me quiet anxious! Moving in 4 weeks and 1 Day? 4 WEEKS and ::hyperventilate:: 1 DAY? HOLY Cow...holy cow, holy cow, holy cow..

Other then a looming someday engagement- are there any events in your life that you are anxious about?

BF and I will be moving in the fall, and I've started pricing out possible buildings. I'm anxious about that. We have it pretty good where we are, in a lot of ways, and it's our first place together (and prior to that, it was my first apartment ever), but logistically we have to move. It makes me a sad bear.

Otherwise, I'm just excited for things. Starting my new p/t job in a few weeks, and then another new one in the fall. Going cottaging/camping. Celebrating Canada Day. All that good stuff.

I'm anxious about whether or not we really have to get rid of our grill. My HOA sent out a notice to the whole development that we're not supposed to have grills (of any kind) on our decks now. Since grilling is a big part of our food/entertaining, this would be very sad for us. I completely understand the need for safety, but it's a total bummer. $1000 fine or 6 mos. in jail through, I don't really think it's worth either of those. booo....

I'm anxious about all of the weddings that I have this summer/year. I have to try on a BM dress this weekend (for the second time) and buy it, for a wedding in December. I have BF's best friend's wedding on June 17, where BF is a GM and a girl he used to date is a BM. I have my cousin's wedding July 30th, during vacation, directly followed by my best friend from college's wedding on August 6th where my ex BF of 3 years will be a GM and many old friends that I have no seen in a while will be in attendance. I need to look HAWT for all of these weddings, hence all of the healthy eating and gym lately, and the even stricter diet and start of 30 Day Shred today! 30 days from today I have to look sexyfied and try to keep it/get even sexier from that point on! AHHHH!

On the bright side, if all else fails and I do not lose another ounce of weight before June 17th, I will also be getting a haircut, coloring my hair, whitening my teeth, gettin mah tan on (probably fake - ixnay on the skin cancer), getting my nails done, and buying a hot dress. I will be sexy no matter what :)

Allusive i hate HOA, its been the biggest pain my butt since FI and I are looking to buy a house, but the houses we like are all in HOA areas, the fees are ridiculous, anywhere from $14 to $350 bucks a month.  Can they really send you to jail?

Anyways I have a deadline of May 27 to hand in  my finished graduate paper.  Its up to 78 pages and I need to get it bound and signed off by my graduate advisor.  I am so looking forward to my vacation in November I am under six months know and getting excited.  But the summer is here and so I can bid my time till then!  I get to do my graduation ceremony on Sunday!!!!  Wearing a stuffy black gown with big velvety stoles, ahhh lovely.... sweaty.

My HOA isn't really that bad...but they sure can be. Mine is $160/mo. and has been raised every year since I moved in. Ouch!

Anyway, I believe the grill thing is actually a county fire code thing...so they can fin you or take you to jail for not adhering to the code. The HOA was just sending notice of this. I'm a 3rd floor so BD wants to wait and see what happen's to the 1st floor people, but that makes me nervous!

I despise HOAs, too! We rent a house, and the HOA is crazy. If we have one weed in our yard we'll get a notice on the 9th saying to remove it. Then we get a notice on the 12th saying that weed should have been removed by the 8th, and we're going to be fined $100. They don't provide any other services besides weed patrol. It's pretty lame.

I'm anxious and excited for our move in July. I'm excited, because I love where we are moving, but I'm anxious about finding a job.

We're moving to Austin! I really like the city, and BF has some pretty cool family members only a few hours away.

I am anxious for my vacation - I will be leaving on Wednesday for chicago, then boarding a plane in chicago thursdsay to leave for Philly. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! :) Tom will finally get to see where I grew up and meet my dad & brothers (who can be very critical...so I'm kinda nervous)

I am anxious about said vacation and how work is going to fare without me. I'm kinda the glue that keeps everyone working and moving, and not in a clusterfuc*
