One of my friends and I were trying to figure out a list of wedding movies. We were thinking about having an all day movie marathon.

So far I have come up with:

"The Wedding Singer" & "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" are two of my FAVORITE movies!!!

"Rachel Getting Married" is a really dark wedding movie, but it got Anne Hathaway an Oscar nomination.

"The Wedding Banquet" is one of my favorite indie flicks and is a great, twisted wedding movie (it's about a gay Taiwanese man who marries a Chinese woman to please his parents).

We own License to Wed, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and Monster in Law. All are really good.

my fav is runaway bride, especially the part where she proposes and turns in her runaway shoes. It gets me everytime!!! and the quiet man is a great classic, love father of the birde 1, not so much the scond one.

Don't forget that the Father of the Bride (part one) that came out in the 90s with Steve Martin is a remake of an older version with Spencer Tracy and Elizabeth Taylor! Cool if you like classic movies.

ETA: I just went to Netflix to add the original to our queue, and the 'Flix also recommends Four Weddings and a Funeral and Funny Face. I haven't seen either of these all the way through, though.

How in the world can a girl not be engaged yet & thinking about wedding movies. It would drive me even more crazy!!

Father of the Bride is awesome though. Steve Martin reminds me of my dad!

Pride & Prejudice - no actualy weddings, but very good love story!
