What type of event is it for?

Depending on what type of raffle it is, you could probably get donations from companies. MY HS used to have a auction every year and each class would mak baskets to sell. Some ideas include:
    Coffee Lover
Movie night in basket with candy, popcorn, pop, a few dvds
It might be a little late but a prom package (You'd need to check with a local salon)
Car basket with soaps, wax, tire shine, etc.

How about a "Day of Beauty" basket? Include lotions, an eye mask, some funky nail polish, a candle, bath salts, maybe a loofa or pumice stone. Maybe even include a gift certificate for a mani-pedi at a local salon. Dunno about you but a mani-pedi (minus tip) by me is about $30, and everything else you could get cheap.

    OOOOHHH I GOT AN IDEA!!!

"Fondue Night" basket! My friends and I do a monthly fondue night and it is sooo much fun.

You can get a fondue pot for as little as $20-$30 - include melting chocolates, a bag of marshmallows, Oreo cookies, dried fruit and maybe a bottle of wine.

My friend got this fondue pot @ Target, $25

We had a company cookout and we put together six baskets to raffle off, and each had a theme:

    - Tex-Mex Night: Margarita glasses, margarita mix (minus the booze), tortilla chips and a jar of salsa, a gift card to a local Tex-Mex restaurant, and free passes to a local country music club. I threw some Mexican-themed party beads from Party City in there to jazz it up.

    - Movie Night: pocorn, two sodas, a box of thin mints and a box of Sno-Caps, $10 gift card to Blockbuster. Got my hand on boxes that looked like the old fashioned popcorn boxes from the movie theater and put them in there too.

    - Coffeeshop: A coffee cup and travel mug, a gift card to a local coffee joint, two classic paperback books, a book marker, pen and notepad.

    - Family Fun: Sand bucket and shovel, a foam football for the beach, sunscreen, a university ballcap, sunglasses, free passes to a local amusement park and a local bowling alley

    - Healthy Living: A university t-shirt and ballcap, water bottle, bottled water, protein bars, hand weights and resistance band, $10 gift card to Subway, pass for 10 free admissions to the local gym

    - Date Night: two wine glasses, bottle of wine, corkscrew, box of pasta, jar of pasta sauce, mini baguette of fresh bread, bottle of olive oil, container of parmesan cheese, gift certificate for local chocolate shop

I put each of these in a basic basket with the crimpy shredded paper (like you see in Easter Baskets) and put each in a cellopane basket bag and tied with ribbon (you can get those bags at Party City). I shopped the sales and hit up the Dollar Store, Dollar Aisle at Target...I also contacted a lot of local businesses and was able to secure donations for most of the gift cards/certificates. In the end, each basket averaged out at about $30-40/basket and they looked fantastic.

Target has the popcorn boxes in the dollar aisle, they were individual size so I bought 2 per basket.

My high school used to do raffle baskets. On top of what's already been said, we had:

Music Lover: A few Top40 single CDs, a gift card to iTunes, and a pair of nice headphones.

Fun in the Sun: Sunscreen, a beach ball and towel, lemonade mix, a pair of sunglasses, and a baseball cap with our HS's logo.

Road Trip: a US road atlas, a gas station gift card, fuzzy dice, a wind-up flashlight in case of emergencies, and car first-aid kit.

I've never heard of them before the knot, but from what I understand it's basically a fundraiser for the bride and groom. Excuse me if I'm wrong, but that's the general idea I've gotten from people on other boards. Some charge per head just to get in, and charge for all sorts of random things.

ps. I've seen the bigger round buckets at the dollar store.

Edit: OP I just looked at your bio. Your wedding isn't for 2 years. It seems a little early to be having a Jack and Jill, or is it just me? I guess I assumed they were more of a shower type event, where they would be a lot closer to the actual date of the wedding.
