Vacation

I want to start planning my vacation for next year. I always go somewhere for my birthday at the end of July and want to get a jump on the plans. Last year i broke my foot and so did not have the money or vacation time to go. I do admit it was questionable we would have had enough money even before it got cxled.

Anyway I wanted input on nice places to go. We dont really want to spend too much money, are not wine drinkers and just want to relax mostly. I would like to go somewhere that has beaches. Any thoughts?

This past summer I met some family from OH in Charleston, SC.  We actually stayed on Isle of Palms, it was great!  It was small but had enough local places to eat and shop.   My sister got a really good deal on a rental for a week that was right on the beach.  The resort had it's own pier & beach access.  Its a great beach for walking/jogging/ or riding a bike.

    I love vacation planning!

Wilmington, NC (Wrightsville Beach) -- small town, beautiful and very laid back! I loved it there, I wish I could move. lol.
