We are still two years away from our wedding, so there's a good chance that I don't have enough planned to make an educated decision on this yet... but it's something I thought of anyway.
We are having a small wedding (approximately 50 people) with no bridal party. We are not religious so there will be no religious readings, prayers, songs or traditions that would need to be explained. The only special thing (besides writing our own vows) that we are planning on doing during the ceremony is lighting a candle in honor of FI's father who passed away.
I'm under the assumption that people understand what is going on during a wedding ceremony, and they don't need to be told in detail what is going in what order during those 15 minutes, as it is going to be narriated by our officiant. Everyone we are inviting knows the names of our parents and FI's one sibling. Guests will be aware of the time per the invitation.
So, do I need to spend money on this piece of stationary that everyone is just going to throw away?
