Does anyone know of a good website to find races on bikes? Not competitive for time, really, just something like a 5k or 10k would be for a hobby runner.
Backstory:
My cousin is 2 months younger than I am and right before she turned 21, they found out that she had a tumor on her lung (from smoking and wood burning stove probably) but she got to have her 21 birthday and then went and had surgery to remove 1/3 of one of her lungs. She said it was the most painful surgery you can imagine. I don't think her nurses and doctors treated her properly though either including sending her home before she'd had a bowel movement, which only complicated matters.
Anywho, she is now fully recovered and no longer smokes, but she would like to do some kind of race. She gets winded very easily because of lack of lung capacity and being very overweight, but thinks she'd like to do a race on a bike for some kind of lung cancer organization.
So can anyone help me out? : )
