Yes I am one of them!

I am one of the no-ring, day dreaming, time frame sorting, fiance' to be.  LOL  I just had to get that one out there.  I am on here just to chit chat and eventually plan a wedding.  Yes, the ring is coming, we both know, but in no way, shape or form are we "planning" our wedding.  Just enjoying how our relationship is progressing...the only plans I am making are my "buy a house plan" for this spring.  But it is nice to know it is coming one day. 

So there ya go.  No ring yet...but no rush and no worries. 

But we have picked out a date we like....but that's it Smile  OHH and he knows how he is going to propose and I am hoping it does not involve work...if he proposes to me on that  God forsaken airplane I will say yes....but only after a LONG and uncomfortable pause lol

    Why not?  It is the date we are looking at.  Its changable and free.  *shrug*

    If there really is no rush you wouldn't feel the need to put up a ticker. Stick to one thing or another but you can't have it both ways.

    I think she is just showing her sense of humor...not being immature. The comment about leaving it up to bug ppl is, but I dont see why it's annoying anyway. It is very changeable. It's not a ticker showing that she has her venue deposit down, and a wedding dress bought.

    Amen!!  I am sarcastic almost to a fault.  Sarcasm can come across awkwardly sometimes.  I don't mean any harm.  And I am not crazy...well...maybe a little.  Working with the public this long wears on anyone.  lol

    I like you!  You have my sense of humor! I'm in the same boat as you... BF & I know we're getting married, we have a tentative date but we're just trying to enjoy life and work towards moving in together...

    I think you seem normal for the most part. We will see if you do turn out to be crazy (but I think on the inside most of us are crazy lol). So tell us more about you.

    How old are you? How old is your BF? How long have you been together? What do each of you do for a living?

    Well...I am 25 almost 26, my BF is 27 almost 28.  We have been together less than a year (6 almost 7 months) and we are both flight attendants.

    You have to use the sarcasm font.

    Although, I can't tell you how to do that, because no on has taught me.  Tone gets lost here sometimes, thanks for clarifying.

    Welcome! I picked up on the sarcasm right away. IRL I would like say the same thing. I attribute it to having a younger brother - do things that will purposely annoy another person.

    Ehhh I agree that it's just a ticker. It's hard to read humor.

    You don't need a ring to be engaged, though. If you're going to, or are already, living together, why wait?

    I picked up on your sense of humour as well. However, I do understand where the others were coming from in regards to the ticker. I think it is the general way of encouraging people around here to not get too far ahead of themselves plus treating people in a similar way that are NEY. I can see someone BSC arguing as to why your ticker is okay and there's isn't.

    I can understand why some people won't pick up on your (cruisebunny7) humor at first, but that's because some people really plan on how SO will propose and plan everything even when its clearly not meant to happen. That's why I loved cruisebunny7 humor :-)
