Very much NWR: Pet insurance

So my dog is having medical issues. Not anything serious, just chronic ear infections and swelling that we can't get to the bottom of and ARGH! And after dropping about $200 on yet MORE tests for this darn thing today (and there have been many other charges before this, Many, many others...), I have decided I should probably look into pet insurance. I knew I should before, but kept putting it off and whoop! Look at that. It bit me in the butt >:(

So does anyone have recommendations for good pet insurance? There was one my old job used to promote but now I can't remember what the darn thing was called. (Too bad it's probably too late to get the ear stuff covered, now that it's chronic. But hey. I can be prepared for other things!)

    Progressive offers pet insurance - it's pretty cheap.

    Yeah I Googled it, but I hate buying things like this without hearing from real live people first. I'm rather paranoid about getting screwed.

    I've had my dog insured with PetCare Insurance, which is a division of Lombard here in Canada.  I'm not sure what it is in the States.  

    It's pretty reasonably priced and has different tiers of insurance.  The more that's covered, the more expensive the monthly payment is.
