Is it just me, or in every single episode he gives them the dress they love?  There's not much of a surprise, they should just call it "Wedding Make Over" since they get to re-do everything, but obviously he's not going to give the bride something she doesn't love on her wedding day!

I liked the wine country episode, though, because he made a cheap tacky wedding (with all those details she had) into a very classy elegant affair!

Cate, 9 out of 10 times he does give the bride the dress/dresses she loves. I've seen a couple, though, where the bridesmaid dresses or the reception dress was not her first choice, but she loved it anyway.

Seriously? Crying on MFW? I must have missed that one. That guy is such a tool-o-matic that I can't even watch it. I want to beat him.

My thoughts exactly!  Though I do watch it... after I've run out of the On Demand episodes of Burn Notice, Royal Pains, SYTTD, and Bridezillas (in that order)

I was just watching that, now the girl with the purple wedding dress is on. I've always wondered who pays for everything?

I love the concept of the show, but the guy is SO over the top with the shmaltzy stuff.  There was one episode where he must have kissed the bride 40 times between showing up at her hotel room the morning of the wedding and the end of the night.

I fear that every wedding photo the couples get is going to have David standing off to the side, creepily watching them.
