I was on my home laptop last weekend and noticed a favorite on the Favorites bar that I didn't remember seeing before - to Kay's Jeweler's. I wondered for a moment if I was just noticing it because it was new, or because I am oblivious and had just missed it before - both equally possible. I thought nothing of it beyond that, and figured, if anything, that it had been from when my sister and FBIL lived with us and they used the comp/Favorites bar to tag wedding stuff.
This weekend I was playing around on FB, and I must have accidentally hit the Favorites bar or something because I looked away from my computer and when I looked back up, an engagement ring was staring me in the face. Not the main Kay's site, but one big picture of a ring. It was the style of ring that I like, and have told BF that I want, but it was not one that I remember ever actually seeing, and certainly not tagging. I have never tagged an engagement ring and left in on the computer. I x-ed out of it and clicked the Kay's Favorites tab to see if that was what popped up, and sure enough there it was again. I was confused, because BF is way too good at being sneaky with stuff like that and would
never leave such an obvious trace.
I am reading absolutely nothing into it, I just thought it was kind of a funny story to tell you ladies. I promise, I don't think it is happening any time soon - like I have said before, once I accepted that he was not ready anymore, I put the thought completely out of my head in self-preservation. He said it wasn't happening this year. I'm not even letting myself go there.
FWIW, the ring is gorgeous. Whomever the mystery tagger is has exceptional taste. Even if it was me sleep-BSC-shopping.
