    From the article

"Regardless of your position on abortion, all of these possibilities suggest these people should never, ever raise a kid."

and I agree with that statement.

    HOLY SHITE. >:(

What happens if they choose to have this child, and he (as a teen or adult) learns his parents left the decision of keeping him or terminating him up to complete strangers? How can they honestly justify that to their own child?

If you honestly don't know if you are prepared to be a parent, PRACTICE SAFE SEX. Don't deliberately try for pregnancy (which, based on the fact that they had two previous pregnancies that ended in miscarriage, is the assumption).

Abortion is not a publicity stunt. It's a serious decision for those couples or individuals who are faced with determining whether or not they want to continue a pregnancy. Oftentimes, it's a heartbreaking one to have to make. It's disgusting and insulting that this is even happening, real or not.

I wish "sterilization" was an option on the poll.

<div>This exactly.  Wow...I'm at a complete loss for words.  I find it so sad that there are so many genuinely good people in this world that would make wonderful parents that cannot conceive, but morons like this have no problem.</div><div>

    OK, she had once miscarriage.

Her second pregnancy, they bought the domain, but lost the fetus before they could start the site.

Now this is their third pregnancy, and they are not sure whether to keep it??

How about freakin birth control you jack-wagons!?

I'm pro-choice.  I am not for making a circus out of it.

This is what absolutely boggles my mind. With her second pregnancy, they weren't sure if they would keep the baby, hence the site. So WHY EVEN GET PREGNANT AGAIN?!

I'm pro-choice too, but I don't know how any person in their right mind can condone this.

I'm with Bren. This has to be the dumbest and and most foul thing I ever seen - and I'm pro-chice. Who in the f@ck gets a poll started on a domain they purchased on whether or not they should abort their child? Just really, who does that?!

I swear to God this is why we need regulation on who is allowed to have children. I'm just.... really?!?!?

The thing that bothers me most about this is that she'll be 20 weeks along if/when she aborts.  That's halfway to term.  They've been blogging about it since September.  If you were going to do this and leave this enormous decision in the hands of complete strangers on the internet, at least set it up to abort at 10 weeks.

    I feel like it's a pro-life stunt.

This is sad. It makes me want to cry that a couple would do something like this. I just hope that their child never finds out about this. I can't imagine how it would make him/her feel.

I wonder if this will turn out like the Yale abortion "artist" back in '08: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yale_student_abortion_art_controversy#Aftermath

I feel like people are stupid, but they can't be THIS stupid... Or so I like to hope... Jeez.

    I hope.

That has to be a publicity stunt.

But I also agree with birth control in the water. My friend has been advocating that since we were in HS.

I think the best scenario would be to give birth to the child and give it up for adoption so it can have half a chance at a semi-normal life.

This makes me WANT the end of the world to come. Are people REALLY like this???

I think this is stupid, irresponsible, and just a publicity stunt.

But I completely disagree with some of you that there should be regulations on who should have children only because I don't want the government deciding that.

  • edited December 2011

I am so appalled that this irresponsible couple has trivialized a decision that so many people struggle with just for what appears to be a publicity stunt.

This really angers me and I hope that if the woman is pregnant and keeps the child that she gives it up for adoption and some deserving parents have the opportunity to raise it.

Wow...just wow.  This has got to be a publicity stunt.  I also hope that the child never finds out, (if she is pregnant and has the baby.) But in these days and time, it is probably inevitable.

Why is it that insane people like this can get pregnant but some couples who really want children can't. What disgusting attention whores after 15 minutes of fame. My vote is sterilization as well. I was close to voting (i didn't vote at all) for abortion purely on the fact I do not think this crazy couple should be so privileged to have a child.
